So is there any that I can delete this board? Or do the mods have to? I feel like I'm getting dumped on and that I never said thank you to the cm or wasn't even nice to her.

Hi, I am sorry that you feel like you are being dumped on. i have been reaing this thread and re read the thread, To me it does not seem like anyone is dumping on you and most agree with you and are trying to point out another side of this. many times i have pointed out what may be a "bad" pin and if they seem interested i tell them the difference between the real and the fake. if they dont care i walk away instead of getting worked up about it. there have been many threads about this on many different forums thru the 7 + years i have been trading and it has not changed much.

if you realy want to just edit your post and title and say delete and or close this and the mods can do so for you.:hug:

Please don't feel dumped on. Nursek8 has it right; we're just exploring both sides. We all hope your next experience will be much better. :)
 
Yeah, greet them with a smile and eye contact; ask them how they're doing; and actually mean it. I've actually had some great conversations with CM's who I've come to know fairly well, largely just by doing those three things. On occasion you'll get some surprisingly sincere answers, both positive ("I'm doing great! Here's why! Insert interesting conversation with real, basic human interaction.") and sometimes not-so-positive ("Actually, I'm kind of sub-magical today. Here's why. Insert interesting conversation with real, basic human interaction.").
 
Encountering rude cm's are unavoidable I guess. I find out of 10 interactions with cm's at DLR, 2 will not be dispensing Disney magic shall we say, and one I complained to City Hall about. But I find the nice cm's usually make up for the bad ones and make my day happier! Sorry to hear of your bad encounter RumsGone. May you have many good ones to follow!
 
So I had a better experience on Sunday. There were two amazing cm's at the DTD Monorail station. They were carrying the Disney magic and truly made my day so much better and it was still early in the day. :) Went to City Hall to say that they were amazing.
