BAD TRADE (podms) NEED ADVICE

I think we are all under the impression that we are all adults here, which is probably half true. I have been burned in trades before but luckily nothing of too high value, using pinpics as a trading is a gamble. Ever since i lost a few pins I usually research dizpins and dpf to see if the memeber is part of the community, if they are not I let the person who I'm trading with know that I wont send my pins until a DC is delivered to me and I see an update on the USPS site. I send them to dizpins to check my rating as well as here to know they can trust me. It's just as caution, if they are really interested in the trade they will understand and agree, if they dont, its no biggie. Anyways, good luck and I hope you get it!! I know how frustrating it is not to and swallow the costs...

wow good idea combatdre. I now have alittle write up that explains how long i will hold a pin til the trade is confirmed and i prefer to multi trade due to shipping costs and that i request a DC# and i use one, but i def adding your brilliant line of "and i see movement on USPS site" thanks so very much for that idea. perfect. An honest trader never minds my write up BUT i have avoided some bad trades i believe, when some folks read it and i never hear from them :io:

Not being negative just stating the facts, just the facts. Gypsies are basically Romanian people who are very kind and generous and I've met several on our trips to Romania. Tramps, well, many of them are just ordinary people who are down on their luck. And I think I did mention thieves - you must have overlooked that in your haste to chastise me. And that was also a song by Cher and I kinda liked it so please don't knock it.

Just a tip for future trades on pin pics, I never send mine out until I get a tracking number from the person I'm trading with .

Of course, if I don't send mine until I get your tracking number, we're both waiting on the other side to make the first move. I'm sorry to hear about a trade apparently going bad, but hopefully the pin will arrive to complete the trade. If not that's why we have the moderators and the postal inspector.
