Beloved tales...thoughts.......??
I remember not being able to sell my Sleeping Beauty for $40 (eventually going down to clearing like $30) not even a year ago. oh well

Very depressing indeed but better than I did. I sold mine for cost to forum member.

I do agree Pocahontas seems to be more popular with adults than kids. Most of the people I know who love Pocahontas were kids when the movie was released. That being said, most pin collectors are adults which is why I would consider her popular in the pin community. Her LE and older pins pins are hard to come by which is why I consider her popular.

Oh yes, the LE 100 in my signature is over $200! Just depressing lol.

I'm crushed at the price for TLM BT and the Pocahontas one. The BTs were never high on my "To Get" list because there were always other pins that managed to come first because they were originally kinda spendy to begin with (TLM went for 200.00 and Pocahontas went for 80.00). Now with the recent ridiculous price rises, it looks even less likely that the prices will ever drop down to what they were. I'm literally crushed as there was only ever 3 BTs that I wanted... but looks like they'll forever elude me at this rate... .v_v.

$250 is becoming a drop in the bucket in the pin world. Rarity comes with a price. It is so expensive because 10000's want it; but there is only so many.

It depends on the pins. There are some LE100 you can get for $40. With the Designer Princesses, Tangled, and BT (and many other pins) rarity comes with price. However, I've bought and sold LE250 pins for $10. If no one wants the pin, its going to be cheap regardless of the edition size. If the pin is a wanted pin, the price will rise.

Is it really? Has it sold for that price? I know someone is trying to sell it around here for that much, but has it gone for that much in the past? I bought it for like $40 several (5 or 6?) months ago and I don't recall seeing it since then (but admittedly I don't constantly look for Pocahontas pins). I see a set of all 6 of those New Classics LE 100 pins sold for about $500 in Jan-- so over 200 for the one pin seems excessive.:dunno:

Does anyone have a BLT Pete's Dragon (Elliott) that they want to sell or trade? I camped out last weekend at DSF to get a set of Jessica's for my collection that I would be willing to trade one for. Not camping out this weekend for the BLT as I heard that they would be lining up by tomorrow. Too crazy for me since I only collect them and don't sell them.
