Beloved Tales: What's your favorite BT pin? How about your least favorite?

Even though I don't have any in my own collection, I have to admit I am seriously loving the "Beloved Tales" pins. For those of you not familiar with this set, each "Beloved Tales" is a large circular pin depicting a memorable scene from a Disney movie.

I think my favorite BT pin so far, from a purely aesthetic point of view, has to be "The Love Bug," even though I haven't seen that movie in ages - I just love the simple, uncluttered design of this particular pin.

My other favorites include "Aladdin," "Bambi," "Beauty and the Beast," "Lady and the Tramp," "The Little Mermaid," and "Robin Hood." I also love "The Rescuers" pin that was recently released!

My least favorites of the BT series would have to be "Peter Pan" and "The Sword in the Stone" - two of my all time favorite Disney movies. I find these two pins to be very disappointing, considering all the great characters and scenes they had to work with! (If I could redesign the Peter Pan pin, I'd have it be similar to 89721, but bigger - an image of Peter Pan and the other characters' silhouettes against the backdrop of Big Ben. Not sure what I'd do for the Sword in the Stone pin...)

How about you? Do you collect the "Beloved Tales" pins... or do you just admire them from afar, like I do?

Yeah I'm not crazy about the Peter Pan one they designed either! This is probably my favorite Beloved Tales:

It's so beautiful!
I like the Bambi, Dumbo, Oliver and Company, and UP ones too!
I don't collect them either! I can only dream of having the Little Mermaid one!

I think the Sleeping Beauty one with Aurora and the forest animals is my favorite that I've seen. So pretty and I love seeing Aurora as Briar Rose
I just admire this series. Honestly, the series scares me, the demand is so high and the prices are pretty up there on some of the pins (TLM, Up, and the pin I mentioned). I'm pursuing the rest of the R/C girls set and promised my husband that after this set, my days of spending super high dollar on pins would be done. So, I don't know that I have a future with the BT series

Naturally I love the Fantasia one, but I also really like the Ratatouille, Lion King, and 101 Dalmatians. My least favorites are Peter Pan and Cinderella

my favorite right now is the hunchback of notre dame one. it looks fantastic in person especially in the center of my hunchback collection. Not a big fan of the cinderella one because it is pretty much just the glass slipper. Maybe I would change my mind if i actually owned it.

I love 101 Dalmatians, Fox & the Hound, Bambi, BatB, Little Mermaid, Robin Hood... Up is good, so is Sleeping Beauty. I'm not crazy about the Jungle Book, Ratatouille or Peter Pan pins.
But really a great collection. I'm fairly sure I won't get some of them, but still... awesome.

There are a lot of the Beloved Tales I would love to have! I really want Mulan, Aurora,BATB, winnie the pooh and a few more. They are on my wants list. I hope to have them one day. I don't want the whole collection just a few that have meaning for me. The beloved tales are such pretty pins in person.

My faves are definitely 101 Dalmatians and Beauty and the Beast, but the Sleeping Beauty is pretty also. Least favorites are, well, there are quite a few which explains why I don't collect these pins but I will say that there are those few that I really do like and would love to have in my collection

My favorite is pocahontas of course! haha, but i also think that beauty and the beast and snow white are sooooo pretty.
My least favorites are cinderella and finding nemo. I just think they're boring.

My favorite is BT Sleeping Beauty - I love Briar Rose with her forest friends I'm definitely keeping that one! A close second is Pocahontas - I love the orange-swirl background! I could kick myself in the booty for trading that one away!

I only own 3 BT pins ~ Aladdin, Lion King & Sleeping Beauty.

My favourite out of them is Aladdin & Lion King at joint place....maybe Lion King a little in the lead

I don't collect them but kind of wish I did lol they're stunning pins, I would say my favourite are....

- I love Thomas O'malleys grin!

- I love it because it has Figaro in it ^_^

and I would say my least favourite are:

- Not a fan of this one because it seems pretty dull compared to the rest of the film

- Woodys face really scares me on this one

Some of them are reaaaaalllly nice and then I think a lot of them are kind of ugly. I just saw a pic of the Mouse Detective one and I'm very disappointed. I think it's ugly. It's rare that there's a pin for that film so it's disappointing that one finally comes out and it looks like that. Still waiting for Treasure Planet, Black Cauldron and 20 thousand Leagues. More films that aren't used much - hope they look good!

Agree! Very disapointed with Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, and Cinderella.
Alice should have been like thr Gomes pins
peter pan would have been nice if it was when they first landed in neverland (like mural in peter pans flight)

i really LOVE the 101 dalmatians, and snow white and sleeping beauty, and mermaid, and huncheback , etc ahaha
totally regret not buying the fox and the hound one when i was atbdsf this feb! Was a naive pin trader back then lol!
