Hello- Just a friendly warning. Same seller that I bought a fake of Jessica as queen of hearts (that I returned) is selling more. Another Jessica as queen of hearts and Jessica as Alice is up for auction. Odd .... both pins were up by same seller a few months ago when I bought????

Just because a buyer has multiples of an LE 300 pin does not make it fake. I have at least 10 of the Jessica as evil queen, and several of Jessica as Alice. the seller in question also is and has sold multiples of this pin Pin 65777: DisneyShopping.com - Halloween 2008 Series
Dragon Pluto leading to speculation that it has been counterfeited. For the record the tail is gold and some come from shopping with dimples in the finish. I have multiples of this pin also. It is not unusual for people to buy 10, 20, or 50 of the dressed as pins. that's why they were gone in minutes.

The Jessica as queen of hearts that I received had a few dimples. It was not the real pin.

Also interesting that mine did not come with a card and this one apparently has a card. If I recall, the Alice that was sold at the same time did not come with a card either and the one currently does.

Exactly, I bought a Stitch Tron pin which was fake with no card. The seller is now selling with a card that it does not belong to. He needs to be reported!

I wish eBay would get rid of all these sellers and their counterfeits. It sucks for the buyer, and it sucks for other sellers who offer the real pins, but don't get to sell theirs because there's some guy out there selling a fake for less. Come on eBay, get your act together.

What a shame if it is true... Those are beautiful pin designs... and now with 8 bids and rising someone is gonna get stuck with a $50 scapper in their collection... Sad

If you go by the backing card as meaning the pin is authentic, you're going to get took!!! Who do you think makes the backing cards?? China!! If they can copy a pin don't you think they can't copy a backing card?? Don't accept pins with backing cards as authentic, if you do expect to be took!!!

this seller also has a "no return" policy...wonder why????
I just typed in Jessica as Alice on eBay, and only one pin/seller came up

does antone know if copys of Pin 25896: Disney Auctions - Masterpiece Series #1 (Boating Ducks) were ever made.
I recently bought one and the gavels on the back are curved. no mention on pin pics.

It is not unusual for people to buy 10, 20, or 50 of the dressed as pins. that's why they were gone in minutes.

I'd say it is pretty unusual. If you have an LE 250 pin and people are buying up 50 at a time, that's only 5 people. About 12 people if they all bought 20 pins each. That's what kind of ruined it for me, while I respect that there are traders out there who want to buy a bunch to trade with - the collectors like myself get squeezed out of the chance when people buy That many at once. And if someone buys 10 - 20 pins at once they are looking to make a little money off it let's be honest. This is where the line between fun and greed gets crossed.

The seller for these pins though has always had a questionable reputation of selling multiple fake pins, so therein lies the problem. I have looked at pics of both and the pin being sold looks like it's fake. There is a bigger white space between Jessica's left arm and hair on the fake pin, also her eye is very small on the fake pin as well.

This seller also has the following pins listed, which are rumored to have scrappers:

Pin 65777: DisneyShopping.com - Halloween 2008 Series Dragon Pluto
Pin 68065: DisneyShopping.com - Be my Valentine - Stitch - 6 Pin Set (Sleeping Beauty Only)

And they have sold the Jessica jumbos mentioned numerous times. I would definitely avoid this seller. :)

I bid on a Jessica/Alice pin a few months back from this same seller. I didn't win but was about the 6th highest and got a 2nd chance offer - seemed fishy to me so I didn't bite!

Also even if a seller has a no return policy you can always return an item under the ebay buyer protection policy you are just liable for return shipping.

So 444 people have viewed this thread an not one has a picture of a counterfeit Pluto as Dragon. No one has a picture of a counterfeit Jessica as Alice? Is this just an urban legend.
