I'm sorry =/ I paid/traded a lot for it, it's in my collection and only for trade for something I really want for one of my main collections. You'll get it in time!
 
First of all, Gomes pins are very hard to come by. People who collect those don't trade them easily and I don't blame them. There are so many pins that I would love to have but I would never expect anyone to give them to me just because I "want" them. I think being respectful of people's decisions not to trade is part of pin trading. I have grail pins that I am pretty sure I will never get but that's life. I will be grateful to get the pins I can and help others when I can but not getting the pins I want when I want them is not my cue to get upset with other traders. I do not mean to offend. I just hope you can see the other side of the coin.
 
The Gomes pins are VERY expensive and quite rare, you should check eBay for some ideas. In fact I cannot even see a completed listing for the particular pin you are looking for so that means it hasn't even been listed for a long time. To expect that someone would zap a $200.00+ pin or trade it to you for much more common/cheap pins just because you ask for it seems a bit delusional and to be angry about is even worse.

I am sorry that you want something that you cant afford, I am sure the list is endless of people that want things they cant afford and of course that sucks. I zap other members all the time, NEVER have I sent out a $200.00++ pin to anyone as I cannot afford to do so, I have also never been on the receiving end of such a thing btw so you are not alone but that doesn't make me angry.

I hope you are able to gain some perspective on your request and also understand that no matter how much you want something the people that are selling/trading also want to get a fair price/trade for it as your desire alone will not talk anyone into anything. Look at my signature wants, I have wanted those for close to a year now but still have not been able to acquire even one of them. My desires are high and my traders are not so that leaves me to either coming up with cash or going without, I wish I could trade a HM for the Scoop pin but no one seems to be interested in that when they can get cash instead.

Excuse me but I never said I didnt respect their decisions okay you have no idea what has been said between me and the other members . And ILoveLEPins is the only one who wants a Gomes pin the other did not request one I have nothing on any of their wants list period
 



First off I don't expect anyone to zap me with a 200 dollar pin I wouldn't feel right accepting it second I have been after this grail for 4 years and third I would give up like 6 pins for the 1 I wouldn't want them to be shortended that would not be fair

not sure which six you are offering, but six medium-okay-nice-good pins does not equal one fantastic awesome pin. you should change your tack and work on beefing up your traders. what do Echo or ChickenLittle want?? work on getting that.
 
I understand that you tried to offer several pins but throwing Echo under the bus by implying she thought your pins weren't good enough and then stating you were going to cry yourself to bed is just not good pin trading etiquette. I normally stay away from all the drama but I see too many members "expecting" to get something just because it's their birthday. If a member chooses to give you something for your birthday then that's great but practically begging for a pin is not right. Personally, I would be embarrassed to put up a thread telling everyone it's my birthday and then expecting members to send me pins just because I "want" them. My finances are limited and there are many pins I have had to pass on. My collection will never be huge. My collection will never have all of my desired pins. My collection will seem meager to many people. Am I mad at other members because of this? Of course not. My problems are my problems, not anyone else's. I love my collection and I am grateful to have them. In almost every collection, regardless of the theme, there will be those really hard pins to acquire. I'm sure just about every member on the forum has a pin they want "badly". They have more than likely been waiting a "long, long" time just like you have been. You are not alone.

Echo has some amazing pins, and I covet a lot of them just like OP. but a match cant always be made, and pouting about it doesnt help at all. its best to shake it off and keep trying.
 
I was not throwing her under the bus their are 4 other with that pin and I don't own a single pin on their wants at all is what I was stating I ecpect anyone to send me free pins or whatever on my birthday which has long since been pasted I was implying for trading cuz I have no money to purchase it I was begging for help to aquire it I only expected to trade for it I wasn't asking for it for free or whatever and if I wasn't to joke about something its freedom of speech

I'm sorry you were brough into this I was not throwing you any where I've traded with you in the past and everything went perfectly once again I want to applogize to for all this mess I'm sorry echo
 
It's okay, I'm not mad or anything. When you bring people's names into it though, people(not necessarily even that person!) tend to get up in arms. We're cool so no worries. I'm sorry I wasn't able to help you get your grail!
