My family has a tradition of buying 1 new Disney ornament every year (our first one was on our honeymoon at WDW, second on our Anniversary trip). But this year we had to break tradition a bit.

I LOVE the Mickey and Minnie/Brave Little Tailor ornament. How could we say no? But... OSWALD!!?!?!? So... we had to get two this year. Hopefully we can get back to our normal routine next year... or maybe not.
 
I love seeing all these different ornaments!

I'm gonna take pictures of all of mine later this week and post them, too. I don't have that many, though...

I just bought a Merida one for my roommates' christmas present, and hope to slowly start up a collection for my own Christmas tree. (It will become a Disney tree. I am sure of it.)
 
Right away, Madam!

These are my Sketchbook ornaments so far:


Alice - I love the fact that she's in a bottle labelled "Drink Me", but her face bugs me. She kind of looks like a blow-up doll. :lol:


Pinocchio - This is one of my favorites, and I'm not even crazy about this movie! It's just so nice and solid. Great design.


Pascal - Just couldn't resist.


Tinker Bell - the light up feature on this one is REALLY nice - You can replace the battery and everything. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the "glass" windows of her bell jar are made of a kind of thin plastic film, hence the horrible reflections in the picture. I wish they were a hard plastic or glass!


Peter Pan - my first Peter Pan ornament! I sort of regret not buying the one of him and Wendy last year. Ah well...

Don't be too jealous, my tree fell last night and about ten of my ornaments are broken, including that one. I'm hoping they can be fixed or cheaply replaced. I'm a little heartbroken.
 
Can anyone tell me how long these ornaments have been out? And did they always have the year dongle on them?

This year my fiance and I got pretty excited about them and got:
- Fabric skirt Snow White
- Fabric skirt Anna
- 2 fabric skirt Elsas (an extra in case she breaks, because I'm Elsa obsessed, lol)
- Sally cuddling cat
- Jack Skellington with Zero and cool vomiting dragon
- Alice talking to Cheshire Cat in the tree
- Singing Rapunzel at her window
- Upside down Spiderman (this one was a "for him." But I have to admit, it is actually very nicely rendered).

Plus, I couldn't take it anymore and just order on the secondary market our "grail ornament" - Brunette Rapunzel and Eugene wedding (2012) (!!!)

Eek! I can't wait!! This is going to be our wedding cake topper! But it looks like it doesn't come with a 2012 dongle while all the ones we bought this xmas have ones that say 2014. So, did those year dongles come more recently? Can anyone shed any insight?

There really early this year for Disney Store ornaments. Last year they didn't debut until August/September. Love the princess with their sidekicks! My bank account is going to be crying! :anxious:
 
I don't think they are all up yet as I saw other shoe ornaments when I was at Disneyland last month that aren't on the site such as: Mrs. Incredible, Dory, Clarabell Cow, Pocahontas, Cheshire Cat, Sally and Figment dragon yet on the same note I did not see the Raz, Edna, Megara, Fairy Godmother, Merida or Jessie ones when I was at the park yet they are on the site currently. They also now have Anna and Elsa ear hat ornaments at the parks that I don't see on the site yet. So they very well may be adding more in waves as the Xmas season gets closer!

Hopefully it sells really well and they'll be encouraged to make more merchandise for her.

I'm not a big fan of the Herc merchandise, but I'd love to see a Meg doll so I'm tempted to buy the shoe to show support. I actually don't care much for the shoe ornaments and have continually passed them up, but when I see something for a rarely portrayed character I feel an urge to buy it because I'd like to see Disney throw out items for all less popular characters. There are a lot of movies that didn't so well that were still a part of the life of a lot of kids and they may have special memories attached, even if movie itself wasn't a great mainstream or merchandising success.
 
Clarabelle Cow shoe ornament? Ooh, I must keep an eye out for that! I'm not big into the shoes but I do like seeing new Clarabelle merch, since she's pretty underrepresented for being a Fab Five-type.

I am currently (im)patiently waiting for this beauty, currently scheduled to come out on October 3:
