Cinderella 2015 Merchandise

Just a heads up guys, but the film is starting to get reviews in and they have all been positive so far! No one has hated it yet and it seems to be very faithful to the original film while also having some expanded back story and some twists here and there. Really excited! Now I just need Disney to release an image of the rumored 17 inch Cinderella coming out...

That's good news---especially as I've purchased nearly every item available from this movie's merchandise line! I got the compact earlier this week and I picked up the coach ornament yesterday. I don't know why I've gone so Cinderella crazy all of sudden--I like her but I never thought of her as my favorite princess or anything. i'm just a sucker for pretty things, I guess.

Yep ive been the same, i ended up getting the tea set, the slipper, the compact, the coach ornament and the two accessorise sets for daughter! I even wanted the pins but wasnt quick enough and i dont even collect pins! Haha i've never purchased so much merc for a movie before but its all so pretty. Im even considering getting some of the MAC makeup as the packaging is so pretty.. I think i need to have a word with myself lol

How do you like the accessory sets? I wish they had the tiara just by itself because its pretty. I love the one they made for Maleficent, very nice and not cheap like the other tiaras that are made for kids

I ordered it all online on thursday, usually takes a week for the merc to arrive so not seen any of it yet, the tiara looks really pretty and i agree, they should have had the tiara on its own. i mainly got that set for the tiara as we have the rapunzel deluxe wedding set so already have a veil. Im not too sure about the gold butterfly necklace set, not too keen on the necklace but i got it for the hair clips as i read a review on the US site that said it was made out of metal. The maleficent tiara is beautiful. I think the movie merc for kids tends to be better quality that the regular sets as its all deluxe quality.

I will let you know what the sets are like once they arrive

LOL, I don't normally collect pins but I got this set. I'm very happy with it... so I guess I'm now a pin collector. LOL Sorry you didn't get the pins but you seem to have done pretty well with the other stuff!! I know, I want the MAC makeup too --primarily for the packaging, isn't that awful? This movie seems to have brought out the ultra-frilly-girly in me in the worst way, esp. for my wallet.

Just wanted to pop in (long time lurker) and say that I picked up the Lady Tremaine doll at the Disney Store today! Long (and I mean my whole life long) collector of Disney Villains, so she is a welcome addition! Looks stunningly like Cate Blanchette. Disney desperately needs some new photographers for their products (or better prototypes) because I've been noticing that nearly every picture of a doll does the actual product no justice!

Its crazy how different photos can make or break a doll - its safe to say that nearly all the photos posted here by members are always better than the stock photos on DS.

Agree with the DS photos not doing the dolls justice. We weren't interested in Cinderella in her blue dress because of the DS photos until we saw her in person. Much more beautiful and vibrant seeing her in that dress. But I liked t Lady Tremaine doll since I saw it in person. They did do a good job of making it look like Cate.

I purchased the LE Cinderella glass slipper, and well, I guess I am not as impressed as I wanted to be. Yes, it is pretty (even more pretty from a distance) but it is not as sparkly as it could have been. I love sparkly things, and I have a few "crystal" paperweights that are just amazing and only cost me like $10, but this cost much more and doesn't sparkle like my other crystal objects. BUT, I am thankful to have it, although I think it could have been better.

I think it will be back in stock, its not an LE item and the movie isnt even out yet so cant see them not bringing it back esp as the demand will be greater for the merc once the movie is released. Keep checking, it may be back closer to the release date

Do they usually do reveals on Friday? And if they release a doll will it be before the movie, so we have more of an idea when to expect information of an LE doll? If it's not going to be a surprise. I would really love an LE doll, the regular dolls themselves are so lovely, I can only imagine what they would do with an LE.

And if anyone is still looking fo the Mattel version, Toys R Us is starting to get all but wedding Cinderella right now.

Usually doll reveals are done on a Thursday or Friday or on a Monday or Tuesday is it is a suprise release I believe (been keeping up with doll collecting for a few years now but I am still not 100% sure if thats right or not). Sometimes they let us know a few weeks in advance and other times they make the dolls a suprise release. Seeing the Frozen dolls were announced so early, its hard to tell when Cinderella will be announced. We could hear about her next week or a week before the film comes out, but its hard to tell seeing we don't have any past live action dolls other than China Girl to go by.

Just wanted to add for Canadian consumers that I went to Toysrus on Thursday and while they didn't have the Mattel Cinderella dolls, they did have the banner for it. Which makes me hopeful At the moment though it's filled with Frozen merch. Hopefully they release it soon!
