That's sooooo disappointing. Her stock photo looked so nice I almost pre-ordered her, but she doesn't look nearly as nice in those pictures. Her hair & dress are just, lower quality to me anyway. I guess it saved me some money lol.

Also, I love what you've done with the LE4000 doll, she's one of my favorite dolls in my collection and you've made her look so beautiful custom, love what you did with her hair!
 
Stopped in at Toys R Us after my Jasmine preorder and they had several of the Princess & Me dolls. I thought she looked cute in person and would have gotten her except that every single box had huge holes in the plastic and every doll had horrible frizzy, messed up hair. I would order her online but the plastic is so flimsy I am afraid it would arrive completely destroyed. I hope they get some more in, because the ones they had were all in ridiculously bad shape -- honestly, they looked like they belonged in a bargain bin. I thought this doll just came out this week but apparently the store has had them for the past couple of weeks. I wish I had known because maybe then I could have gotten one before they were all destroyed. I was a little shocked at the price ...$59! Why is this doll so expensive?!--the other Princess & Me dolls aren't that costly.

Is it because you're in Manhattan?!!! It says $49 on TRU website. I hope she's not more expensive. They're already $70 in Canada.

I'm concerned about the state of the box, but not her hair since I plan to open her and restyle her anyway. So it was bad camera angles in that eBay auction?
 
Amm, if you're at TRU in times sq, download the ShopSavvy app. They price match there to major sites and also to their own site. I got Cinderella headphones for $24 instead of 50+
 
Ok so here's an interesting piece of merch...

I was in the market in Bangkok, at this dress shop that I always go to. Well normally hardly anything fits as it's too small, well I found a rack of dresses in my size and I picked a few and then I saw..... THIS!!!

Seems it's a knock off of the print used by the Japanese brand Secret Honey which makes gorgeous (but expensive) Disney themed dresses. You usually need a deputy or shopping service to get them (I have Frozen Fever Elsa and she cost me a bomb)
Anyway for grand total of 14 bucks I couldn't really complain! This is totally coming with me to WDW in September...

I think she is cuter in person than in the eBay photos but yet not quite as cute as the promo pics...so somewhere in between! :) I liked her enough to be sad that they didn't have any in better condition. Her face didn't seem as long as in the eBay photos, which I was glad about because I didn't like that. Also, her eye color looked a much lighter shade of brown to me than in any of the photos.

Yeah, I don't know why they are so expensive. I saw them on the TRU website too and I assumed they'd be the same price in the stores...but then again the price on the website has been for a "preorder" so maybe that is a discounted price if you buy early? I can't remember exactly now if it was 57.99 or 58.99, but I know it was close to $60.

Lol, the state of these dolls and then this expensive price sign right above-- it was laughable. I still can't get over the shape they were all in. Every single box cracked and some with holes the size of my hand. I wasn't sure if the plastic on the box was really that brittle or if they had just been severely manhandled. Probably a little of both.

Does anyone know if these are being sold anywhere else? I have only seen them advertised at Toys R Us. Also, does anyone have experience with Toys R Us shipping? I would prefer to pick the doll out in person, but I don't know if I will be able to find her anywhere else.

I have been trying to save my money for the D23 expo and all these dolls coming out in the next couple of months, so I've been putting it off ....but, UGH! I really need to order that slipper already!

That dress is so gorgeous! It's uniquely designed which I love.
 
So I have really been thinking about getting the KimchiDVD limited edition steelbook for the movie. I watched someone unbox it and do a review of it on Youtube, and I was blown away by how beautiful it looked. The extras look really nice too.

That edition is absolutely STUNNING! :D I hope more editions of the movie will be that beautiful.
 
Tracking says my lenti and full slip should be delivered Monday so I'll share my opinion then. I've heard mixed things about the lenti, that it looks like she's jumping in one of the transitions, like its not placed right. Still excited though.
 
Love what you've done with the slipper! We were in London over the weekend so went to Disney store on Oxford Street and in Harrods. I was surprised to see they still have the LE tea set in both stores! It was nice to see in person though.

Oh oh and the giant Cinderella slipper was gorgeous too.
 
This isn't /official/ merchandise, but I wanted to share it anyway. I live in a really touristy area so there's all kinds of jewelry shops and etc near me and I was in one of my favorite ones yesterday and I just had to buy this pendant. It's pretty small, but I loved the detail of the pumpkin and the heart shaped windows and wheels.

I forgot to share the news I found out about the deleted scenes coming out next month. Sorry if someone else posted and it just got buried:

Deleted Scenes: With introduction by Kenneth Branagh. Includes “Serving” (0:56), “The Mourning” (4:24), “Getting to Know You” (2:00), “The Search for Cinderella” (1:14) and “Dear Kit” (2:57)

I also said I would post my opinion about the KimchiDVD exclusives once I received them. As a Cinderella collector, there must haves for me, but I can't choose a fave between the lenticular and the full slip; I like different things about both of them. If the full slip had a title on the front, I would go full. And if the lenti had a bit better of a 3D effect, I would go lenti. I don't like that the images jump around a bit, but it's still beautiful and I like the fact that it's horizontal. It gives my Cinderella steelbook collection some variation. Here's that collection so far:

I am in love with the Kimchi LE set. I think I will be fine with the standard blu-ray (there is already enough coming out as it is), but its a VERY tempting buy. Thank you for sharing your pictures Quasimoto :).

So does anyone think that the film collection dolls will be going on sale anytime soon? They haven't sold out like the Maleficent dolls did, and they have been in stores since March, so I figured they would go on sale soon. I haven't bought any of them yet, but I am considering it if the price drops low enough.

Where did you get that HUGE poster of Cinderella and her Prince? And where did you find a frame big enough? It's gorgeous!!!!
