on being second in an auction is akin to being second in the Americas cup,

During the 1800, the then Queen of England traveled to the latest upstart colony to break free, Austraila, to watch what is now the Americas cup yachting race,

Being well seated and unable to actually see the race on the water, Her Majesty asked to be upadated on the status of the race,

Her attache returned saying that the Americans were winning currently.

Her Majesty caught offguard that her famed naval men were not first , inquired
