Okay so my mom was just at DTD doing some Christmas shopping and I asked her to look by Rainforest Cafe where the line usually starts. She said there is hardly anyone at DTD and that there were no people in line. I asked her if she saw anyone sitting in fold-up chairs and she said no. No one in line I guess.

So people were just pulling our leg. . . :dunno:
 
did everyone see the gorgeous scenes on ebay already? FML..I think I will spend the night and have my mum take over for me as i will be heading to traditions.
 

Thank you much for the update. I will be traveling down to Orange County in about 1 hour to visit family. I will make a quick pit stop to DTD / DLR and let our forum know of any updates. After the stop I'm going to spend time with family enjoying Gobble Gobble day.

On another note is anyone worried, like I am that all the B&TB scenes seem to be exactly the same? Reminds me of pre-Mulan scenes. I have not seen anything different on the Bay.

You don't even know... I have been watching like a hawk... every scene posted since the first one... All Frekin dark nightime scenes like alladin had...
 

No problem! My mom sent me a picture of where people start lining up and no one was there So it must be true!

On ebay there appears to be very little variety in the scenes, mainly ballroom, Beast showing Belle the library, and after the ballroom. I'm hoping we'll see "Something There" scenes and the transformation/ending.

Oh, and I'm kinda disappointed in the scenes so far. The ballroom scenes aren't very good as either Belle's or Beast's face isn't shown in a lot of them. Bummer!

I want Belle in every outfit... Blue Dress (Especially... this is my favorite), Green Dress, Yellow one, and a big plus would be the Snow Scene outfit with Beast her and the birds...

Every release is different as to how the scenes get split... I have seen scenes that only show up at one park or the other... most do appear at both parks for the most part...

What you are seeing on E-Bay in my opinion is what the sharks think were the top cells and they are trying to get top dollar for them... The ballroom scene to most would be the grail scene as the iconic scene... but to many of us who truly love this movie for many other reasons... we all have a different special scene which would be our personal grails...

I beleive there will be a bigger variety of georgous scenes at resonable prices by tomorrow afternoon... reasonable being ($75-$125) with grail scenes exceeding $300 for truly unique cells...

Just my thought on it tho...
 

Update, my family just surprised us by coming over to our place, heard a knock at the door and there they were. I will not get a chance to go to DLR at this point till after we we have Thanksgiving together. If anyone does show up to DLR later on, keep us updated.

Back to the scenes, though the limited scenes are nice I would like to see some variety from the entire movie, some outside shots would be nice. I have noticed in the past that some scenes at DLR are different then at WDW, maybe distribution quirk.

Go with friends and take a few games and a light source. It really can be a blast! Some bring computers and movies to watch but you don't get any interaction that way.
 
Haven't seen a scene I really wanted as of yet on eBay. Well there still the rest of the night to find Beauty and the Beast "Hair Scene".

A friend at the park all day took the Monorail for me to see if anyone is in line (got made at me because her kids had to get a Lego now) and NOPE - not a single one. just get there at mid - 1 a.m. like everyone else is going to be.
 
After waiting in line for a VERY long time, I am happy to say that I have them! At DTD they had them in three different boxes: Belle, Beauty and the Beast, and Beast. I didn't see anyone come out with a cell that had Maurice, Gaston, Lumiere, or Cogsworth. I do have a scene with them dancing where you can see both of their faces and I also have Beast with the rose in front of him. Despite them being dark....they are gorgeous and well worth the wait! I will try to post pics later. First - Turkey Time!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
