Collections you want to start but haven't.

I say collect them. I honestly cannot see the OZ pins from DSF selling for that much once they are released. Since the movie is not out yet, I have a feeling you will be able to get all the pins but the marquee for less than $20.

Beauty and the Beast, because I just think the movie was beautiful. But I have realized I have to narrow down the collections. I am not going to be a completist in anything though so there may still be time for Belle later on.

I have so many that I have decided to have a few of my favorite pins from a bunch of movies in a random type of collection...my problem is I need to set a limit or they will all become full on collections...Lion King already has one of the walls in my living room!! I have been thinking of a maximum of 5 pins per movie and if a new one comes out I will put one in traders...we will see how this works...:sigh:

I really liked Wreck-It Ralph, so I'd love to start that, but I'm already behind and it looks like those pins are only going to get more expensive. I also love Ray from Princess and the Frog, but there are so few of him that I'm intimidated. The wife loves Dumbo, so I think that will be the next collection we start, once I'm happy with my Stitch, Presidents, and Spaceship Earth/Epcot collections have gotten big enough!

Then why not start collecting now? You only missed out on a few pins and the only ones that are really difficult to get nowadays are the D23, Pixelated Jumbo, and King Candy surprise pin. Why wait until there are more pins that are just as if not more difficult to get???

I would really like to start Sleeping Beauty. I am a little overwhelmed by the sheer volume of high end pins. For now I think I may just focus on the three fairies from Sleeping Beauty and expand from there if I want. Not like Alice doesn't have enough difficult pins.

I've been trying to do stitch with ducks, but its really hard and I haven't gotten one yet.

I've thought about this too. I don't even particularly like Stitch or the movie. But he is adorable with the ducks. I also thought about Stitch reading a book, but again that usually has the little duckies in it.

My Belle collection consumes most of my energy - but then I get sidetracked. I have a ton of pins that fit no particular theme - I just like 'em.

I agree with everyone before me who said it: DO EET. And make it to DSF so I can meet ya. But seriously...collect them! Or...you can go to the Thursday showing of Oz and if you like it, stick around for the pins...if not, you can go home to your nice comfy bed!

I have been controlling myself for Tron pins as I seem to only collecting the pins of the logo or of the identity disc. But due to the difficultly of the Tron pins, they're not pins I really chase.

Another one character that seems to be really hard for me to collect is Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Even the OE pins, I've had a hard time getting them so I constantly debut if I should just trade the few pins I have now.

The one set that I have been having the worse luck is the WDI Princess and Prince Thrill Ride pins. It started with the Tangled pin. I picked it up thinking it would be a good trader. Then I win two more on the bay but one of the of Auroa and Prince Charming on the Indiana Jones pin is missing their eyes! I need two more to complete the set but I've struck out twice on trades for them. In addition I have a bit of people chasing me for the Tangled pin.

If I see something I like, I just get it. If I add to it, great - and if not, that's ok for me. I'm not going to stress out about being a completest. I only have one collection that I am trying to complete, but there are only 3 pins left and they may never come my way, but I'll be all right with that because I love the collection anyway. I picked up an Oswald because I liked it and now I have several Oswalds, but I don't know if I'll ever get all of them. I like my little Oswald collection whether it's all of them or not. :wiggle:

I have so many tiny collections that I really want to work on during this year, but I do want to collection some of the smaller collections, such as Vanessa from the Little Mermaid and Hunchback of Notre Dame. Although, I would love to start an Oz collection, as there's not many pins yet, and I would be starting at the very beginning so it wouldn't be as hard as starting to collect pins like Tangled where there's little chance of me getting pins like the 'Opening Day' or the Marquee pin.

I'm kindof in the same boat as a lot of others here. There are quite a few collections that I've been wanting to start but just haven't gotten that foot in the door yet. Nana is one of those. I really want that So Long Nana pin but just keep missing out on it! Grrrrrr! I'd also love to get PODM with a scene of Nana to go with it. But again, not the easiest things in the world to get my hands on. One collection that I actually did manage to start, but just haven't been able to work on is Edna Mode. I have one pin, the one of her in the gray and black outfit, but can't seem to get the other two on my list; the Halloween and Christmas outfits. Ugh!!! That stalled collection is one annoying thing to see in my pin bag. OMG, so frustrating!!!

These are my collections - way too many for me to think about adding any more: Pluto and other Disney dogs, Minnie, Peter Pan (any character from the movies), Aladdin (any character), Snow White (any character), Sleeping Beauty (any character), Mickey, Donald (and other Disney ducks), Goofy, Chip and Dale, Alice in Wonderland, Jessica Rabbit, Disney cats, Pooh and friends, Beauty and the Beast (any character), Cinderella (any character), The Little Mermaid (any character from the first movie), Lion King (any character), Dumbo (any character), Live Action Movies, Attractions/Parks, Bambi (any character), Brave (any character), Resorts, Holidays, Animated Shorts (Cartoons), Pinocchio (any character), Pocahontas (any character), Vinylmations, Mickey Heads

I really want to start a Wreck-it Ralph collection. I have an unhealthy obsession with that movie... so, yeah.

I don't really know why I haven't started it yet. Haven't thought about I guess(which I really should have, since some of them are gonna be kinda hard to get now). I am gonna look around on ebay and see if maybe I'll get lucky. I'm also going to DisneyWorld during the summer, so maybe I'll be able to find someone who has them and are willing to trade.

Peter pan and Pinocchio... I started mad hatter but think I must stop since i already have about 10 diff characters i am collecting. SO many awesome pins out there... :-/

I am also thinking of startling a Wreck It Ralph collection. Loved the movie and the characters are so adorable =)

If only I could somehow keep myself from starting collections...!
