D23 Expo 2013 Pins?
Thanks for the pictures FluffyStitch.

This will be my first (and probably, last) D23 Expo.

I see some nice pins here.

However, needless to say, the one I REALLY WANT is the Silent Auction Cheshire Cat pin, and that requires I pay more money to attend the auction. Which I can't do :( - If any one is going to attend that event, and can find it in their heart to sell/trade/...and I know this is asking A LOT - ZAP, me that pin...I am sure the Pin Karma would come back to you triple-fold. Hey, if I don't ask, I don't know, right?! ;)

That being said, I hope everyone gets the pins they want. If I can assist anyone in getting pins they want, who won't be attending, please let me know. Just keep in mind, this is my first time, so I have NO idea what to except.:anxious:

BTW, can anyone help me with my lack of knowledge here? I sure could use it!!! :)

I am EAGERLY looking forward to attending.

Day one is shopping...I wouldn't be surprised if the line starts at midnight to get in at 9am I think. Best place to stay is closest to the convention center if you can afford it. Next, Get your pins at either WDI, Disney Dream store, then lastly at the 2 or 3 locations of Disney Parks stores. You can attend events if you want but the best stuff disappears quick. Saturday is the usually movie blockbuster premier that has never left me disappointed. Sunday was Marvel day so I left early.

Everything is cheaper on friday and prices usually go up as the days go. That has been my experience for the last 2. Saturday you see the movie review first. Its Disney so Line up extra early for the D23 line. It was around the corner of the block at 7am last time

I am not sure what prices that you are referring to. But I found the prices for items in the Marketplace and Collectors Forum were cheaper on Sunday. The vendors did not want to cart home the merchandise that they had shipped to Anaheim.

The pins that have been previewed so far are only the D23 Expo pins from the D23 Expo Dream Store. We still have not seen the pins from the WDI/Mickeys of Glendale store usually inside the Parks Pavilion or the pins from D23 Treasure Trove usually part of the Disney Archives exhibit on the second floor. There is also the regular Disney Store and it might have pins as well. Friday morning is definitely the time to go, if you want most of the new pins.

So, we're going Sat and Sunday...but by then will pins already be gone? Or are we going to try and have to get in on Friday as well...?

No most of the pins are exclusive to D23...The more popular pins may sell out Friday but depends on what you are going for

I believe I'm only going to attend Friday to see what I can snag. It's my first expo so I think attending one day is a great start. :)

I absolutely love the Day & Night pin. I hate being a D23 member but never able to attend the Expo. The timing just isn't good.
