I think she thought the topic was about a set of Designer Princess dolls...the supposed pin set listed today is no where to be found - maybe it was deleted??? There was one that didn't sell @ $10K :facepalm: - that must have been the one with pins made out of solid gold :anxious: :lol:

Why can't I seem to find it under the Sold listing? The only good thing about that is since there is no record of it selling for that, people won't be putting the set up for $5,000 expecting it for that in the future ^_^ I have to say I'm shocked it sold for that price as it seems like most people on this topic don't believe it is worth that steep price O_o Congrats on whoever did buy it, it is a nice set that I do plan on getting EVENTUALLY...for a price under $2,000 haha

darn, so people can see it >_< haha 2 Designer sets go on sale the same day, one set for $2,500 one for $3,000 (on DPF). I almost feel like $3,000 isn't a bad price for them seeing as how they'll only escalate. Doubt they'll ever touch $5,000...but darn close O_o
 
Okay, I have to ask and please forgive/be kind if this is a stupid question but... are the PINS worth more than the dolls themselves at this point...? :shock:
 
Every time I hear about how much these designer pins go for now, it makes me want to throw up. Considering I had 3 sets at one point (could have had a lot more since we were at the expo when they were released). One I co-oped out at cost, and the other two we sold for $350 each the day they were released. And people ripped us apart for selling them for $150 profit! :facepalm: I also had the D23 Silver Cinderella, and after not being able to sell it for $200 I traded it for the Blonde 17" Rapunzel. A month later is when it jumped to $1k+. :eek2:

yes, but the dolls are LE 4000 to 8000 and the pins are LE 150. I'd say the dolls are going from 90 to 375 with the most expensive being Ariel, Aurora, Belle. The pins going for 100+ to 750 with Rapunzel being the big one there.

And someone has decided to try their luck at $4100.00 OBO (+$22 shipping)

This is very true, imagine if the dolls were LE 150 or 200 O____o Each doll would be minimum $700 or higher so I think the pins have the advantage because they are 1000s less of them per doll.

lol I just saw that O_o With 2 offers both declined I'm pretty sure this seller is gonna sell it for around $4,000 or not at all >_< I don't want to sound rude, but I'm really hoping it doesn't sell because $4,000 for the set is just too much for me :( anytime...ever.
