So this began as a joke in chat today with Lost-Sun-Princess and HiddenMickeys and Mermaids_grotto present.
We were discussing the horror that is... the Rapunzel carousel pin...
And we joked that she would come alive as Lost-Sun-Princess slept. Well... to make a long story short... THIS...was born...

Some crimes shouldn't be solved.
This forum made me shudder like ants crawling down my spine, but the lettuce is good and disney pins are all I have anymore. The gorgeous dame that held my arm for all those years is gone. It felt like a kiss in the mouth, but my scotch numbed the pain. I sank to my knees in despair, and looked at the pins scattered about my soppy excuse of an apartment. The art on these things looked as bad as my junkie neighbor after a good month on the streets. Who is to blame? I didn't particularly enjoy this, but it was certainly a wakeup call. A detective should never stop, and it took a good sock in the gut from my twat of an ex to make me realize that.
As I walked down the streets, I began to notice the stares. I felt like an animal in a zoo. Maybe they should cage me up, because this town is going to be sorry they ever let me go this long without a good case.

I almost peed my pants from laughter after seeing this. This is picture just made my day, it's hilarious!!!!
How do things like this get past "quality control"?? Is there a quality control? How can belle/ariel faces look fine but then rapunzel and merida look like they've been up for 5 days straight shooting up meth?? It's beyond disappointing!!! The disney auction pins are just.so.gorgeous!!!!!!! Now....crap-o-la.....
since they don't care lol, yes the pins are ugly but guess what we all went to buy boxes so why should they try harder? even if its crap we still buy em and make em money so why should they care, lets all be strong and don't buy pins for a year just to show em! *front of the line at DSF* lol

hahah this is true though. as long as someones buying them they wont get the message. Honestly speaking, and this is just an opinion but most beloved tales look like crap.. their art is pretty bad.. a good amount are NICE yeah, but i find a lot of them have DOTS for eyes. There's nice ones like Pocahontas, Lion King, BATB, Little mermaid etc, etc. But looking at Hercules.. it was in DSF for 1.5 years and sold out due to the beloved tales era. The Tangled beloved tales is probably one of the worse looking ones to be honest but my girlfriend wants it because of the scene they chose to base it off of. I'm sure i'm not the only one that thinks some beloved tales could've used a little more work or effort.

Is this Disney's way of punishing the scrapper sellers? Make them look so bad they're not worth scrapping? XD!

We've been complaining for years of the continued reuse of artwork, but Disney has hit a new low with all these ugly pins recently. The initial artwork looked great on many of these pins, so what happened? Doesnt Disney care about releasing beautiful pins anymore? Does Disney think we are just mindless collectors who have to have anything they release? Not me!
