Disney Pin in Doctor Who?

LOL Do you want me to ask Colin? I'll be seeing him in two weeks at a Doctor Who con. (Though I wouldn't hold my breath that he's gonna remember a pin he wore 30 years ago... )

Yes! Ask him! Do iiiiiit! Just say some crazy Disney Pin and Doctor Who fanatic wants to know... oh and tell him he's awesome too while you're at it. Wish I could go to a Doctor Who con... seriously, I can't seem to find any over here in the UK which has any of the Doctors I want to meet at the moment. (How does that make any sense...?) Any other Doctors going to be there?

As would any pin conversation to any non-pin person. "What did they just say?" "Something about the LE of the DSF to the DLR and a barrel." "Oh, okay."

Now that's true, be it Humans or Time Lords... pin trading conversations are confusing to those not in-the-know.

If I get the chance at one of Colin's panels, I'll ask him about his cat pins - though again, I doubt he'll remember any one specific pin.

And yes, we'll also have Paul McGann, plus Billie Piper, Arthur Darvill, several classic-era companions, writers, etc.

Thanks. For some reason I really want to know what pin it was.

That's cool; I do hope I can one day meet a Doctor.

I'm sure he won't remember specifics about one pin - but I hope I can get a story out of him about his cat pins in general.

Wonderful chap - all of them.

Oh yes, I'm not expecting him to know the exact pin it was or anything.... but I do find it rather interesting they used a Disney pin in Doctor Who.

And agreed there, Brigadier.

Me circa the 80s: "I wear a scarf. Scarves are cool."
Everyone else: "Nerd."

I want that Seventh Doctor scarf they have for sale on the BBC Store site... 'cause the Seventh Doctor is awesome (I already have a Fourth Doctor scarf).

This thread is an excuse to post Doctor Who gifs...

I think it’s this one … PinPics #38203 from DLRP and Marie has a pink jewel in her pink bow. The DPP # is PD32368. Maybe he did a little time traveling as this one was released in 2005!

I was going to say that it would be impossible as Disneyland Paris did not even exist then, but as you day, he is a Time Lord.

Does anyone actually have this pin? I'm putting together a 6th Doctor cosplay, and as artistocats was actually the first film I ever saw in theaters, this pin is becoming an obsession for me. Despite not being LE, it's been a BEAR to track down.

Are you sure it's not photoshopped?? Isn't Aristocats from the 90s? And I have a pin with that exact design and it is from circa 2008/2009

Hello fellow Doctor Who cosplayer! Well I'm still making my cosplay. There are pins like it that are very similar that were released later on that are probably easier to get. But if you want the exact pin... I'm not sure, as its from the 80s it might be harder to find exactly what pin it is; as they're not as well documented. If I come across any information I'll be sure to inform you. Would you settle for one that just looks the same but has a different release date, or are you adamant about finding the actual pin?

Apart from what's already been mentioned about the movie's release date, I said I was actually watching the serial when I noticed it, so it couldn't be photoshop. He definitely is wearing the pin in the serial.
