Disney Store Limited Edition 17" Dolls Discussion - 2017

Someone needs to teach me how to quote multiple posts in one post so that I can stop spamming the group. I just want to reply to everyone!

Some photos would be much appreciated I was going to wait for some reviews before making a purchase decision.

I usually klick reply, copy what appears in the replybox to a word doc and do this with every post I want to quote but I don't think this is how it works...

It's great to see your boyfriend is so accepting of this hobby Sometimes I hesitate to tell people I collect Disney dolls and vintage toys, but that level of support would give me so much more confidence in collecting.

He's absolutely loves Robin Hood though, Zootopia as well. I've got him an articulated Judy Hopps for his birthday so there will likely be more disney dolls around the house haha

I am sure this has been answered before but is the release date for The Olaf's Frozen adventure LE dolls on Tuesday December 12th? I have been hearing that is the date and I want to make sure I am ale to get the day off work to go and get them. I work 545am-215 so I do not want to chance that they will be there when I get off work. Again sorry for the stupid question but I figured this was the place to go. Also everyone going for Elena today good luck!

Dec 12 is the date people are saying they'll be released With this being the fifth wave of LE 17" Frozen dolls and the edition size of 7000, I don't think you'll have to wait in line hours ahead. Even if you somehow don't make it in time to get one offline, you can always order off Shop Disney.

Aha I have figured out how this works! All you need to do is click "Reply" on another comment you want to quote after you are done writing your response to a comment. The quoted text is automatically added to the end (does this make sense?)

Yeah Zootopia was a lovely movie! Not many pins about though. He's got a Nick Wilde one but that's all so far

It was reported yesterday on the doll groups that it works. I just went online to see if it did, with the code AMAZING, and it does. Plus, if you search by Elena LE doll, it comes up with a little note that says "use AMAZING" for 20% off!

Now if only we could see some HD photos of the Olaf's Frozen Adventure Frozen dolls. I hate to be a downer but I'm still not 100% sold on them. Elsa's dark blue dress was beautiful and different from her Snow Queen outfit. Don't know why the color didn't translate into the LE doll.

Some good quality photos would be great. Maybe even an oufit swap would work for those two. Stalked ebay for some photos (in general for LE toll photos) and these girls were up there as well, and of course with the stock photo we already know. Although I prefer the old moulds and faces I kind of understand why the new faces are said to be more movie accurate.

I prefer the old molds too! Anna's face looks more awkward and quirky than before, which I suppose is more movie accurate (or so everyone says) but her look doesn't inspire me at all. It might just be because I didn't watch the short though Coco isn't releasing where I'm at for a while, so it's either take a gamble by buying these dolls and risk disliking OFA or try my luck from a reseller next year based on how I feel.

I'll post pics of my Elena doll tomorrow. I haven't been home in the afternoon for the past week, which is the best time of day for me to take photos of the LE dolls because of the lighting.

I absolutely feel you about the lighting. I only take pictures under natural light with the camera on my phone, so I can only take (good) photos at specific times. Looking forward to seeing your Elena!

I think the faces of FF dolls are better. And I think I would not buy Elena or OFA dolls this year because I have no room for these dolls. But I would buy Frozen2 Dolls of course.

Oh the FF dolls are some of my favorites I think Disney really outdid itself with the Anna in that set. I passed on Elena too, if only because I do not know her story. As for OFA, it's either I get Elsa or nothing. We'll see until we get some better photos of the girls.

Her face might grow on us, but I have a major issue with how they turned the majestic dark blue of Elsa's gown into a bizarre powder blue that doesn't even come close to matching her cape :/

Haha jk. It does irk me a little though. The navy was 85% of what I liked about her new design.
