The set is alright, it could have been much nicer, in my opinion for the price. I like the DSF pins coming out soon for Monsters, Inc. I wonder which will be the surprise release too. Will anyone be going for those later this month? I'm in NY, but I'd love to get them all.

Will this be massively popular like the brave set? I don't know how to feel about it. It's nice but just don't know if it will be like the nemo pins that came out and just kind if sit there or sell fast like brave?????

I just spoke with a rep from disneystore.com over the phone and she said that the monster in. pins were NOT a limited edition set. I would like to have them but I think I'll pass at this time. Maybe I can trade for them or perhaps get them later after Christmas.

I have to agree! That is a LOT of money for this set. I was excited to read the title, and disappointed by the pins themselves AND the price when I went to the link. Come ON Disney! What are you DOING!!??

I'm wondering if the CM gave out correct info. I've been buying from DS online for more than 9 yrs, & I don't remember any DS exclusive sets that are not LE. If it is OE, I think it's a first

Me too! I was so excited when I saw that Monster's Inc. pins are on the Disney Store. But the pins just aren't up to par.

Got my set! I'm surprised it doesn't say its LE especially since there's a buying limit and I don't recall a DS exclusive being OE before.

I think they are probably LE. First of all, George Sanderson would be a really odd character to put in an OE set, seeing as 90% of the general population seems to forget who he is. And the locker would not appeal to many people other than collectors. Not to mention I think they would have to be coo-coo to try and ask that much for a non-LE set! :o I want it, but I can't justify the price until I know if its LE or not.

Thge Braveset was not massively popular, it took a couple days to sell out AND the resellers on ebay sat there for days or even weeks.

Wow- that's a LOT of money for an OE set :(

Disney will charge what they feel they can in the market. Everyone thought DS.com was done with LE sets and then the DV and the Brave came out. Perhaps this is an OE and an experament, like the LE500 idea from DSF?

I asked several cast members about this set's edition size and I was told it is an open edition as well. That totally disappointing...it really seems like the more than time passes the more Disney wants to rip off its customers. I personally have drastically reduced the amount of money I've been spending with the Disney Store lately; this is one of the reasons why. If this set is an open edition than Disney is clearly trying to rip us off and if they just forgot to add the correct information than they're just being careless and lazy! I have to see the quality of service and overall merchandise increase soon. Otherwise I really will be considering whether or not I will continue to buy from them.

If anyone that ordered this set gets it and sees its Le please let us know. I would definitely buy one if it was LE. I'm still not convinced its an open edition.
