Did DS.com just sneak in a release of the Pave' Princesses? Or did I miss their release Monday morning?
 
I apologize ahead of time for the stupid question, I'm new to this, but will I really have to stay up until 3AM (I'm on the east coast) to get my hands on those tron pins?

Or get up around 2:45 AM EST, yes unfortunately. It also all depends on how hot a seller they are some. Some like the costumed versions of Tinker Bell and Jessica @ Halloween sold out in minutes but all of this weeks are still available, so it is a roll of the dice

In your opinion, how popular is tron? I mean I see a lot of people wanting some of the pins for the character and not for the movie so I'm sort of confused as to how worried I should be about getting them

Someone else might have a better answer than me for that one. I am looking for myself the Chip & Dale, and the Stitch Tron pins, but not really anything else.
 
Hopefully someone else will catch that question later then! I have a strange feeling I should just go for the whole tron set instead of the individual pins that are being released, people are really jumping on those...
 
Tron seems to be becoming pretty popular. I think with the designs of the pins, the characters, etc, they might sell out rather fast. If Jessica and Tink had been part of the Tron series, they'd have sold out for sure. My guess it that Dug, Chip & Dale, and Stitch will be the first ones to go.
The other set is LE 100 so thats anyones guess, especially since its holiday time. LE 100s can sell out in minutes - but we don't even know what they all look like yet.

I've got a game plan for these so I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get the set and at least a couple of the individual...I was hoping the individuals would be only Tron themed to avoid the cross of interests

I would love to have seen DS do them.
 
Well the looks like the Tron pins will not be this week's MOnday release. However, given that we had a midweek release for the Princess pins it is a good idea to check daily. I would watch for sneak peek thread like this one to be updated. As long as they have not updated the pics for the Tron pins, those pins are not coming.

I take it you're after them as well? If I had to guess they'll probably be released the night/weekend of the new movie
 
To be honest, I doubt they will be released on a Thursday or Friday. I think they will get released MOnday the 20th. But you never know.

Well let's look at the facts.

We do not have the full pictures yet for those pins, so it is very unlikely they will be released this MOnday. The Snowball series and Christmas Train are the likely releases this week.

Usually pins are only released on the Monday morning release. We have had the freaky Mid week Pave release this week, but I feel that is likely a fluke. DS.comm do not necesarily release a pin for a film on the release date of the movie. Just look at the recent Tangled release. Nothing is certain with DS.com. Just after years of experience dealing with them and predicting pin releases, I feel this is the most likely scenario.
