DisneyStore Limited Edition 17" Dolls Discussion
So the Japanese disney store decided to sell 50 limited edition wedding Cinderella dolls this morning at 10 am. I managed to get oneit was a lot easier than buying from the US site, since the product is uploaded and visable hours before they start selling, just the order button is missing. No secret links or unfair knowledge.
They were even cheaper than in the US - around 350 USD
She sold out in 1 minute.
of course this means that 500 wasn't available for the US/Europe, even though they said 250 for the US and 250 for Europe.
Wonder if that means we will start getting LE dolls on a regular basis? So the Japanese disney store decided to sell 50 limited edition wedding Cinderella dolls this morning at 10 am. So I have had Cinderella a few weeks now and she's the first LE doll I have ever deboxed, although she is back in her box until I get a glass cabinet. I don't think pictures do her justice at all, she's so stunning in person. Usually after a couple of weeks of having a new LE doll( hype/excitement dies down and sometimes I start to dislike a doll... Cinderella I just love more and more- she's a keeper!
That would be nice.Wonder if that means we will start getting LE dolls on a regular basis?
I was also very surprised to see the Japanese price, around 42,000 yen (349,37 USD), especially since the items are often more expensive on the Japanese disney store than on the US site. What the hell, Disney? Why was the price changed for that Japanese store? That's hardly fair for those who paid the original $500 price for them. And while I'm happy that those who got her were able to do so, I feel bad for those who got cheated out of the lower price.
That would be nice.
Since it was a lot easier getting the doll from the Japanese disney store. Even though there were only 50, it went a lot better than expected.
Also think the Japanese disney store will ship the dolls better than the US store (better protection - since Japanese people are so strict when it comes to packaging) and a 7 USD shipping fee is a lot better than 75 USD.
I'm more afraid of receiving a completely crushed Cinderella as I've seen too many of those last month, where even the shipper box is bashed up violently. It depends if they ship it in the original shipper box from DS or add an extra box/layer of protection.
I will add that most of the damage that I have seen to the boxes/plastic appear to have occurred in the factory where the dolls were created and originally boxed. It is not due to the box being damaged/crushed during delivery. Scratches on the plastic and creases in the boxes don't typically happen during shipping.
I think the price difference has to do with the fact that the JPY is losing value against the USD.

The new Anna and Elsa though I have decided to sell them, got caught up in the excitement and then liked them when I first got them but after about a week realised I didn't care for them. I hope disney do a frozen fever Elsa or a designer sq Elsa.
hey guys! do you think would be fair trading my cinderella glass slipper LE 500 with the LE snow quen elsa doll i'm looking for?
That depends on which one you love most. To me, it is SQ Elsa. After seeing Ebay's price, If anyone is really willing to trade their SQ elsa for your LE 500 slipper, I think it is worth.
