DisneyStore Limited Edition 17" Dolls Discussion

Wonderful photo's! I love mine so much already, got #2,668 while Anna is #2,336!

I am super excited about tonight's doll release I hope I can manage to get Elsa! And maybe Anna for a Christmas gift to my mother(Anna is her favorite character in Frozen). I was just on Disney Stores site and just noticed that Aladdin was still available for purchase I guess he's not that popular. Has this ever happened before? It's good for those that still want him.

Oh, that sounds so much better. It would have been nice to sit at a table or go to Panera for breakfast. They didn't hand out tickets until about 10-15 minutes before the store opened at BTC, and told us not to get out of line. There was a family of 3 in front of me that were told when they called the store the tickets would all be handed out by 8:30. They weren't too happy as they had planned their morning around it due to the fact they were only in town to pick up someone from the airport.

Yeah, usually the guys stick around for a while, I remember Philip, for sure, had a pretty long run on the site before he finally sold out.

For what I expected to be pandemonium given the perfect storm of 17" LE, Designer, FROZEN, and Tsum Tsum, this was a surprisingly relaxed release. The mall's usual scalpers didn't show, and most of the people were actually there for the Tsums. As much as I loath the lack of sleep (got up at 4:15 running on less than two hours), the doll line ran out at about 6:20am arrivals and given our dallying, we likely made the right choice. My Elsa's in the mid 800s, so I'm happy. Still, here's hoping these are the last of the Frozen dolls for a long, long time.

I know I normally don't post photo's, and that there are several Elsa pics already up, but I couldn't resist just this once! Have #2,668 and am completely in love with the doll!

I am starting to get anxious...all of these gorgeous pictures have raised the stakes!! I'm SO happy for everyone that got their dolls today; they all look gorgeous, and I wish everyone else ordering online tonight the best of luck!

For those who may be curious.

Interesting. I hadn't totaled how much Disney grossed. I keep a running spreadsheet of the ones I've bought, and I certainly didn't buy all the dolls (no D23, no super LE 500 or less, and had to skip Aladdin, Jafar & Pan/Hook), but it's just painful to look at the total, especially when all the non LE merch is added. There's also the LE Fawn, which was least expensive. I'm hoping they come out with another fairy next year, but really hoping they don't raise prices. No way am I spending so much next year. I'm also really disappointed in the quality of designer sets I've gotten. I'm certainly going to be pickier next year with that in mind.

I knew I was missing something. Add another $239,800 bringing the total to $10,655,013.85

Alright after not sleeping worth a darn, the next five hour wait has commenced lol. At least I can lie down in my own bed instead of on the mall carpet! XD Though totally different feel for this lol since it's so up in the air as to whether or not I'll be able to snag Anna, whereas this morning was a certainty when I showed up to begin the wait. XD

I'm so happy with the dolls I got! I got some really nice numbers too! Anna/Kristoff's number is 1530, FF Anna's is 257 and FF Elsa's is 1313! I love Elsa's number! <3 It was so worth getting up early for them. Most people started showing up shortly after 7 or so. Congrats to everyone else who got the dolls they wanted!

Boy I'm so tired, I woke up at 4, then at 6, then at 7. Then basically out shopping the whole day. Either way I don't have anymore room for dolls, since Elsa was basically the last doll that can fit in my room. If they make another Snow White doll, then that is a must!

Nice! Heh, 1530 was the number of the house I lived in the longest growing up. XD

Love your Elsa's number, it seems appropriate too, isn't she technically the 13th Disney princess? -Yes, I know she's a Queen, but try telling that to the certificate of authenticity on all of my designer dolls!

I know I posted these already, but here are the codes for tonight again: Elsa: 460703401410 Anna: 460703401250 Designer Anna+Kristoff: 460702950971

That's so cool!

I believe she is technically the 13th princess! 1313 is also the address for Disneyland!

Oh man, I contributed too much to this. I didn't buy any of the super -expensive (wedding Cindy, wedding jasladdin) or D23 oat, red jas, Minnie or buzz. As for everything else... And that doesn't even touch on the non-LE stuff...

However, I'm pretty satisfied with my collection. I really do like what they put out this year, at least at the usual price point (super-expensive I just cannot justify).
