DisneyStore Limited Edition 17" Dolls Discussion
Well, even though it's stressful, I'm happy it's not just me having these issues.
I guess I can't blame Disney, having to send all these dolls almost at once.

For Poca maybe they could put some feathers, real embroidered/beaded headband, fabric boots or something and real accessories instead of plastic? Like woven bracelets or something?Put her with Meeko/Flit perhaps?

Probably, there's only so much you can do with her outfit.

I know most people are concerned about the FF dolls, but I just wanted to say I received a shipping email this afternoon about Anna & Kristoff. I live in Colorado, and I checked out at 12:01:18.

I live in Colorado too! :D

Anna and Elsa have not shipped yet (Shipping to Florida). But I did order the 28" Pooh and Piglet plush set right after I ordered the dolls. Those shipped today.

We'll see how things go with the dolls.

Sounds like most people's Annas haven't moved, that's weird but comforting that I'm not alone.

Edit: Strike that, reverse it. Checked again just now and there's a tracking number for Anna!

Yep, I've seen some your posts about "your stores," in the past, and figured it out. I think you are in the south side of Denver Metro, though. I'm in Arvada, so my local store is Flatirons. I'm not a doll person, in general. I was surprised when we were in there last weekend, and they actually had the Designer Stuff, and a doll on display. Normally, they don't participate in the dollmaggedon and I'm not up to driving down to Park Meadows or over to Aurora when I'm not that serious about it. For other things, Flatirons always seems less chaotic. So I was debating going up their on Tuesday morning, but decided to just wait too see how things worked out online.

But if there is ever something non-doll release related, and the other 2 stores are sold out, drop me a PM and I'll see what's available up here.

Well My order for Elsa is closed and she has a tracking number now I just have to wait for the site to update her info with an estimated delivery date! In hope all goes well and she gets here safely with out any issues. I am so happy i got her!!! Elsa is one of favorite new Disney Characters

I'm very happy for you! She's actually my favorite Disney princess period! I love them all, but have never really had a true favorite before Elsa came along. Before her the closest I could get is a slightly stronger preference for Merida than the rest, but she had a very minimal push above the others for me.

YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW BAD I WANT KINGDOM HEARTS LE DOLLS OMG!!! Sora, Riku, and Kairi in their KH2 outfits would be amazing! It will never happen, but that would be my one wish if Disney ever was to ask me what LE dolls they should make.

But yeah I completely agree with everything you said. I really hope 2016 is the year Pocahontas and Mulan get their dolls. They are long overdue for the 17" doll treatment. I can't wait to see what Moana's doll looks like!

Yes, I love Mulan! She and Shang were the first designer dolls I ever purchased, and that wasn't by coincidence! The day she and Shang came out I actually had to work, so I raced to the Disney Store right after getting off and was extremely relieved to see that mine had 3 dolls left in stock!

If they do Pocahontas and Mulan, I bet there's going to be a lot of variants. For example, they will make Mulan in her pink dress which is the more general le edition. Then I bet they will do some kind of exclusive with her in her army outfit, which I'm betting wil be a d23 exclusive. Then of course they will make Shang in a general le edition. And lastly, I'm guessing a platinum edition of Mulan and Shang in either wedding clothes or something. That's just my guess, but with the way Disney is making these dolls I wouldn't doubt it. With Pocahontas, I'm guessing she's not going to be very stunning costume wise; I can imagine Disney giving her a lackluster outfit that we all had high hopes for.

With Pocahontas, they could always make a variant of her in her English Ballgown dress from the second movie, that one could be tricked out more easily than her classic look.

That is true, I did see the best offer ones, I should have at least tried but I guess I've gotten jaded with that option lately, constantly denied. I went for it and got one for $280 shipped. Congratulations on getting one! I should have at least tried for online, but I was being stubborn, then saw non-promo pictures from people that got her and realized the mistake I made. I have to say I feel relief that I have one with my name on it. I will keep watching the price trends just to see if I was right to do so. I'm masochistic like that ;)

Congrats! As long as you're happy and it was worth it to you then you got a good deal. :) You probably saved yourself a lot of trouble and stress going ahead and getting it. That's certainly worth something and probably more than worth the difference of any savings. I'd hate to tally all the hours I waste online, and zombie work days I've endured from staying up too late, trying to get a good deal on something to add to my doll collection. It often pays off and I've gotten some real gems for a steal that I wouldn't otherwise be able to own, but there is certainly a cost to it. I think it's smart to watch the trends even if you find you may have paid more (I've been there). It's interesting to see how these things can go and you have more info if you find yourself in the same situation in the future.

Is it weird I like them better this way?

Personally, I do like Anna better with Elsa's dress on, but there's something about seeing Elsa in Anna's clothes that I just don't care for...

Wow-I've actually never heard of any collector swapping their outfits before! :) And they both look good, though I have to concur that I like Anna wearing Elsa's dress a lot more than Elsa in Anna's outfit (she was just meant to wear that gorgeous Snow Queen attire I guess).

Well my Anna has shipped, but not my Elsa....still nervously waiting since I'm much more excited about Elsa than Anna actually ^_^

It looks like some people on facebook are able to call Disney and order FF Elsa/Anna on the off chance that maybe some payments were declined? If any of you have missed out it might not hurt to give that a try..

I got her for $280 shipped. I hope you are right! Next time I will not be so stubborn about trying to get one of these online the night of!

I think that is a good price...if you look at the sold Elsa's you will see she now is going for $300 including shipping. I bought an extra for myself, since I like to keep one set boxed. I paid $275 for mine. Ebay is a bit tricky at times, some look like they went for less until you look at shipping and see something outrageous like $48. The important thing to ask the seller is how they plan shipping it, if they say double boxed that's the best way to prevent damage.

Haha, I bought an extra Anna to debox that costs me about $260 including international shipping. After I saw someone deboxed Anna and the detail on her back is amazing, I decided to buy an extra to check it by myself.

OMG... Just got my blastoff mail for DFDC Anna&Kristoff... I am relived now because I never received the confirmation mails for this set and FF Anna&Elsa.
