DisneyStore Limited Edition 17" Dolls Discussion
Ok. So this is my theory:

Due to the problems that people have had with pink aurora. Damaged boxes... Do you think that disney might be trying to prevent these problems before they ship out the blue auroras?

Well, I order Maleficent and Prince Philip the other night, just got a blast off email saying he has shipped go to check the website says Maleficent has shipped as well. Still not tracking number. Going to be sending an email to confirm that Maleficent is in fact shipped as well and if there is once again a tracking number.

You would think yes, but in reality I think the answer is no

Ok... So here's my reason why disney is one of the worst companies when it comes to their customers and customer service.
In light of all that has happened with the limited edition dolls, disney should immediately post an apologetic response explaining what's going on and assuring people that everything will be ok or at least giving a positive outlook.

Crafting such a message will only take a few hours, if not one and it can save them a butt load of angry customer calls. Further more, it'll also show that the company is listening to their customers and acknowledges their pain and worry and wants to rectify this problem.

Instead of telling consumers that the warehouse is causing these problems, they should give everyone who's orders are still problematic a $10 gift card and a assure them that a replacement has been put on hold for them. If no replacement, then offer them first dibs on the next LE doll.

Things like this will help consumers regain their trust of the their Disneystore.... But what do I know, I'm only a student studying business administration in college.

I absolutely agree. I am a customer service manager at the company I work for and I totally agree that something should be done about this. Telling people to email them only to send them a canned response with no answers to their complaints and concerns is horrible.

Well, ten minutes after sending an email to Disney get a blast off for Maleficent and then about 5 mins later get an email with both tracking numbers, neither one works at the moment so will just have to wait and see

I got a blast off email for Blue Aurora and Phillip, but not Maleficent, which I bought at the same time. Also none for Pink Aurora. Hmmm....

Is your pink Aurora the orignal one or a replacement one? I am waiting for the blast off for the replacement one. They changed it from standard shipping to 2-3 day shipping but no movement on it yet. They said they would make a replacement on Friday, status still says active though.

My 2-3 day replacement shipped a full business day after my phone call.

I called in and the lady told me that my Aurora was 'in the final stages' before shipping. What does that mean exactly? Is it a line of placating nonsense or can I expect the blast off email soon?

A this point who knows. If my pink Aurora replacement doesn't ship by Monday I will be calling again.

No, it's not a replacement. I just had troubles paying originally so the doll shipped late (or not at all yet) - and I have checked that the money went through this time haha

Maybe I have been luckly this time round , but Disney UK (online) have been very good.

Ordered Maleficent and Pink Sleeping Beauty on the 7th , two separate orders , got email confirmation at 8:12AM (UK time) on the 7th
Both Shipped on the 9th and both arrived on the 10th.

So this time well done UK Disneystore.

Paul

To be completely honest...
I think I would have liked Phillip way more had his clothes been designed to match the Festival of Fantasy Parade. I guess the only thing that I like about the doll more than the actual costume is the embroidery on the shirt, but I mean, look at the cuffs and not to mention the puffed sleeves. It works better in this design than the doll... And the cape is soooo much better!!

^ Mmmm that's one delicious looking prince.

i also just got a blast off e-mail, but just for blue aurora, no prince and no cindy :<
but as long as i get my order at the end of the day, if the disney store wants spend more money of shipping, that's fine by me.

^^^ Not really sure what's up with the signature thing, but I have always had to sign as well. Otherwise they end up leaving a notice stuck to my door. I ended up picking up my Snow Gear Anna from UPS myself.

You guys are lucky. My ups guy just throws my package on my door step ( I live in an apartment complex) and just walks away, he doesn't even knock.
There are times when I come back at midnight and I see packages that have been sitting out all day.

Mine knocks lightly, if at all, and just puts it at the front door. Sometimes, if I'm lucky, he'll hide it behind the column or a gardening bench near the front door, but very rarely.

And when I had something delivered last month, he didn't come until 7:30 p.m.!!!

My blue aurora shipped this morning, or at least I received an email saying it did. Phillip hasn't shipped yet, but I bought him the next day when I noticed he was still available so he might ship later.
