I agree with some others on here. I am over Frozen and all its merchandise. Yes, it would be interesting to see what the dolls could look like but I think they should concentrate on something else. I think they should finish off the princess line and do Pocahontas and Mulan and maybe do the princes with them since I don't think they would do the villains. As a true collector I am more intrigued by dolls that could finish a collection like finishing all the princesses or making more villains. Not making doubles of more dolls just to make another dollar.
 
As much as I like this customisation of Lulemee and especially Maleficent's face, I am really fond of the original one. I don't want the LE to be so accurate to the movie. I like the metallic tone of the skin,her big eyes, her mouth.
I want to see the version LE of the character. I truly love my Frozen LE but I was disappointed to see there were only copies of the movie characters, no little changes (like historical inspirations like Rapunzel or Snow-White).
 
Love it. So simple and yet so hard for Disney to do!!! Wonder why?! Only thing I would do is keeping that silver face.
 

I agree, I too love it when they change things, I actually prefer the lower collar because it reminds me of the jolie film while the rest of the doll is the classic version.And I love the big collar and metallic face.
 
Well I'm all up for changes but not when it comes to face. Maleficent ows a great deal of her character to the amazing face. Sadly Disney can't get it right. Mattel did amazing job few years ago and now lumelee. I only bought LE one because of her dress. So this new face is WOW, silver skin should be kept but lips, eyes...repaint!

Can anyone find out what kind of colours they use for doll repaint? And what type of remover? Thanks

I must be the only one who doesn't like the silvery metallic sheen of Maleficent's face. I have to say that was what bothered me the most about the LE doll. I actually prefer the green, matte face like in the movie.
 
Well if face would be acc to cartoon I wouldn't mind the silver skin, but if I would have to choose well green it is.

I dunno, I kind of agree - it looks like she has just come out of a spin class and is all sweaty??
 
I think Lulemee's is gorgeous. She is so talented. However, I love the original too. She is fabulous. I actually like the sheen, the face, and the décolletage. Once Disney added the neck, I was sold.

I have no idea how they allocate/send dolls. Must be random. Got ym order for Pink Aurora through at 12:02. Got a doll under 500. ordered Blue Aurora at 12:01, got a doll above 2000!! Kinda annoyed by that.... all over the place! I know it's not suuuuuuper important but I was hoping to have a pair similar in number...
 

They just send you a doll at random, it's not like they select dolls at what time the order is entered, they just get any one of them and send it.
 
Oh man I really like Maleficent with the closed collar. I might copy that idea ^^ great repaint I def like both so would prob keep original and the repaint one hehe... Here's lots of pics of my evil Maleficent doll that thank goodness got home safe

I found this looking around, I would really love a 17" LE Pocahontas either very very movie accurate or something like this ones specially the first one.

 

It is random. But what I did notice with the last 3 dolls for SB is that the dolls sent to the store seem to be high end numbers and the ones sent from online orders were on the lower end.
 
Well, I just picked up my dolls today - and my heart hit the floor. My luck with online orders has run out and I too have a Phillip instead of Maleficent. (Further compounded by the fact I already have Phillip!) Thank goodness for this forum, because I don't know what I would have done if it weren't for everyone here sharing their stories and expertise on dealing with Disney's screw ups. I immediately got on the phone to see if they had any left in the warehouse, which they did, and for the exchange asked that Maleficent be sent out right away rather than waiting a week for Phillip to get sent back. I was lucky I got such a nice person on the phone, Tamika, wherever you are, thank you for making a heart-pounding experience as painless as possible!

And now to wait. Again. *siiiiiiiigh* Has anyone gotten replacement Maleficents successfully?
 

I was one who got sent a Phil when it should have been a Mal. I requested it be sent with complimentary 2 day shipping, since I kept Phil (didn't get him initially). They did honor my request and Mal come in excellent condition.

Good luck.
 

You're lucky they agreed to send it out with two day shipping. I returned my designer set last week because it was damaged, and they still haven't sent out the replacement. I have called numerous times and I even spoke to a manager, asking if they could expedite it as a courtesy since they were the ones who sent out the damaged items, and was told no. They said they were backed up and it would probably be shipped out around November 3rd!
 
Wow, I was just looking for dolls on eBay and there is a listing for a 17" LE Belle where the seller listed the retail price as $900. WHAT?!

That is so evil...

The starting bidding price is $450 .. so are they trying to make it look like they are offering it at half the price or something?
