Just a friendly reminder, this is the only place that confirmed LE dolls should be discussed.
Please do not discuss them on any other thread. This will make it significantly easier for people to track down any info should they need to.
 
The Anna doll looks gorgeous! But I am really confused as to why that was the dress choice. If these are being released for the Frozen Fever short, then why on earth would you use her dress that she wears at the end of the first movie? I mean, it is entirely possible that this is the dress she wears through most of the short, but she is being marketed in the sunflower dress. It really makes me wonder what Elsa is going to look like (they are obviously going to make a doll of Elsa). Is she going to be in her Frozen Fever dress, or maybe that one dress that we see her in when she is saying goodbye to her parents?

It could be entirely possible that Disney is using this as an excuse to either make a special Harrods set for the Frozen Fever outfits or they are going to make even MORE Frozen dolls in the future. I seriously hope its not the latter. We are already getting Frozen overload in doll form as it is.
 
Sadly it looks like Elsa is in her purple dress. Still hoping to see Hans tomorrow!

JFC, there's going to end up being FOUR Elsa and Anna dolls, isn't there? We didn't even get two Ariels, one of the most popular Disney leading ladies of all time. I get that Disney is a company out to make money and right now Frozen makes them money but I am kind of FURIOUS that it now seems to be at the expense of their other properties. Not so much Ariel as those dolls were released before most people know anything about Frozen but there is no excuse, NONE, for not releasing a 17" Cruella De Vil along with 101 Dalmatians, except that most of their designers and factories are still focused on designing and producing Frozen *sigh*. People may point out that Cruella got an extremely good doll in the Designer series and I'd agree (she's my fave of the six) BUT her face mold was all wrong. Too much Glenn Close, not enough how she actually looked in the cartoon. BAH, I'm just annoyed. In this paragraph....

....NOW TO SING THE PRAISES OF THOSE DOLLS. OMG OMG OMG ELSA IS IN THAT DEEP PURPLE DRESS SHE WORE FOR LIKE THREE SECONDS WHEN SHE SAID GOODBYE TO HER PARENTS I LOVE IT SO MUCH. Kristoff looks fantastic too and I'm SO glad he's not in his snow gear. I still think it's weird to release these dolls right now...Frozen Fever inspired LEs would have made a lot more sense but I'm sure those will come out later in the spring/early summer during a dry spell before all the Aladdin merch hits. These dolls, Aladdin merch, Inside Out toys...I think I might need a second job :o

more special in my opinion. Europe only getting 1,000 that means it will be a bidding war on eBay for those who missed out. Not too fussed on kristoff

I'm glad Elsa's not in her green dress, because that's more money I would have to shell out. I mean I hope they make one eventually, but not now for my wallet's sake.
 
They all look fantastic! But again, WHY on earth do we need a doll of Elsa in her purple dress? Its very simple and still very beautiful (im a big fan of old fashioned/simple clothing), but really? Really bummed that we will probably be getting yet another two more Anna and Elsa dolls in the future with their Frozen Fever outfits when its released with the Cinderella blu-ray or something, despite the fact that we have yet to get a Cruella, Mulan, Wendy, or Pocahontas 17 inch doll. With all of that being said, they are still wonderful, and at least we are still getting what I am sure will be amazing Aladdin dolls.
 
So disappointed by Elsa's dress! I didn't want another coronation hairdo! I wanted to get a doll where Elsa has her signature braid! I've already got her coronation doll, after shelling out a bit more money than I would have like to for it, but if I had known that her look would be almost identical: hair in a bun, gloves on,...I would have probably held off. I wanted one doll of each, one with her hair up and one with it down, but unfortunately it looks like I'll have to wait longer and pray for a Frozen Fever edition to come out! Anna looks OK and I like that Kristoff has rooted hair, but I think I'll need to reserve further judgment on them until I see better pics of the dolls, or at least get to see them in person!
 
Didn't want to like Kristoff but I love him! And Anna is in my favourite outfit of hers. I like Elsa and for those who just want a LE Elsa then she's a good alternative. Her hair looks more golden? I don't know if I should buy these, if I get these and then in a few months they release a frozen Fever Elsa I will be bummed.
 
Hm, probably in the minority here, but I'm not going to get any of these (probably) (maybe apart from Anna?). I was hoping for a Christioph in his snow outfit with the cute hat. The doll kinda reminds me of a hawaiin surfer boy – the ukulele is not helping in this regard *lol*
Anna is cute, I like her outfit, though I don't like the felt-material of her skirt. But she's not really much new in comparison to Snow Anna. Also, her pigtails seem enormous – why?
With Elsa I'm honestly disappointed. I was so hoping for her in her Frozen Fever dress – girly with her braid. Didn't expect THIS version at all. And don't care for it, she looks too matronly. Her hair style seems dull, I don't get the composition of the three dolls (teenageElsa + Epilogue Hans&Anna??) and ugh, a whole outfit with this felt-like-looking material.
I had incredibly high hopes for this trio and I'm sorry to say (also really sad I have no enthusiasm for these three dolls) but I really don't like how they turned out (Anna is okay in herself, but that skirt....).
 
I will probably pick up elsa and kristoff because I know if I don't ill end up regretting it later but I have to admit I'm disappointed with these dolls...

I don't know why it is so hard for disney to make decent looking boy dolls that actually look like their character and not a slightly resembling awkward looking version. And I am really hoping they did not use the same pearlescent skin glow they used on the fairies... If its the same ill be passing on all of them.

i don't know... I'm hoping this is just me being an overly critical fan and ill love them after seeing the short but I feel like these are a waste of limited edition dolls... Hopefully my mood changes. /:
 
Yeah, I have to agree with those who wish to pass. I usually love the images at first glance, but these ones fall short in almost every way. The more I look at the them, the flatter they fall.

I have the first 2 releases, so I guess that's part of the problem. The Frozen LEs have gotten less amazing with each release. And Kristoff in this outfit? Sadness. I expected to like him so much. Now I'm on the fence with even him.

I totally agree that it's a shame we got MORE Frozen dolls and NO Cruella.

To those who love them or just need a retail-value Elsa and Anna, I'm happy for you. I guess I'm happy for my wallet and shelf space, too.

When did these dolls become about releasing such insignificant looks? They started out as princesses in their iconic look. Now we get a dress a character wore for 5 seconds during a montage / time elapse? Weird.

Oh well, we still have Aladdin to look forward to! We'll get REAL dolls instead of these cash grabs.
 
So with the frozen dolls coming out the week before the cinderella movie is released, should we expect a LE cinderella doll the next week?

Also, since Hans wasn't mentioned, what is likelihood that he will make a surprise appearance day of?

It is quite odd this time they don't release the LE frozen short Dolls to accompany with the short movie.
 
Oh my goodness, I am very excited to finally see pictures!! :). I do think it's a little strange that they put Elsa and Anna in these outfits for a Frozen Fever release....but I don't care. Anna's pigtails seem way too big to me, and her head looks oddly proportioned with her hair. And her skirt looks a little strange...I think it's the fabric used. Kristoff looks very nice; I'm glad they put him in this outfit instead of the ice harvester one, but I don't collect boy dolls, so I won't get him. And that brings me to Elsa.....she's perfect. I adore her outfit, especially since purple is my favorite color. I'm glad to see that although her hair is in a bun, it seems to be a variation of the Coronation LE's hair, not exactly the same. I really hope I'll be able to purchase her...but it's going to take a lot of saving and eBay listings, and luck the day she's released!! I imagine they will all sell out extremely fast. And if I do get her...those gloves are coming off! ;)

Edit: But I'm hopelessly undecided between trying to get Elsa if I can afford her, or saving my money to try for the Cinderella live-action LE if they do that the next week. :hs:. I know I won't be able to get both. :sad:. What do you guys think?

While I love Frozen and will be getting them, I don't see they made these and skipped any type of LE BH6 doll. Makes me feel they are just sweeping Big Hero 6 under the rug , which is a shame cause it was a great movie :(
