Rant time.
Okay so Im am soooooo freakin mad right now it's not evenfunny. I literally want to strt bawling and screaming. Ebay is the worst thing in the whole entire world. I hate it. I'm never using it again. I am closing my account later today and never going there again.
So here's all what happened. Well first of all, since ebay is connected to PayPal, I use all my paypal money as my pin money. Right now I am trying to save up 200$ to buy grails and what not, abd I have been selling art and right now I have 30 EARNED dollars. But no. I wake up this morning to see that I owe ebay 36$ FOR NOTHING. I DONT EVEN HAVE 36 DOLLARS. And now they say that thy are automatically taking it in the next few days! And even if it is sellers fees, I only sold 3 things in the past month! That would equal no where near 36!!!!!!!! And to make it all worse I got scammed from 40$ from a evilbay user..why cant I leave negative feedback!??!?!?!?I have reported them twice and still heard nothing about it!!!!!! I read more of his older feedbck and people have left positive feedback, but my same situation in the comments. Ebay sucks. Never use it.

all depends on how much your stuff sold for as ebay take 10% of what the selling price is, so it can build up if you dont watch it. I myself pay the one off payment whenever something sells as soon as the person pays me for the item so Im not going to be caught when ebay sends me an email every month.

I added up the fees and it should only be 11$ :/ and ebay has always taken out fees automatically, so they are already paid off :/

I could see where this was going, and I didn’t like it. Not one bit.

It had been days since my last run-in, and I was enjoying some nice quiet time by myself. Just how I like it. I had finally gained a hint of relief that everything was going to be ok… that I was getting closer and closer to finally finding these “Villians” and these “Sharks”. These goons didn’t stand a chance.

There was a knock on my door.

Damn. I let out a sigh and get out of bed. Looking through the peephole, I realize it is one of my neighbors. That gorgeous gal is OK in my book, so I let her in.

“NOIR…. I did it again! I fell for those crooked snakes, and now I owe them all my cabbage! Almost a century!” she shrieked.
“Babe, who did this to you? Whoever it is, they clearly don’t know who they are messing with. Im gonna hop in my wagon and send them all to the meat house… Just tell me who it is.” I said
“EvilBay” she muttered, looking down at her feet.

Damn. I told this dame a thousand times to stay away from EvilBay. They are nothing but a bunch of roscoes, waiting to pounce on the next addict that comes along looking for their grails. It’s not right, but every smart sap in this city knows to stay away from that place.

I looked at her dead in the eyes as her mascara started pouring down her cheeks.

I reached out and put my hand on her shoulder, and I whispered “You did it to yourself baby. You did it to yourself.”

I do not sell on eBay for this very reason. No point in paying those fees.

I sold on there when we were in a huge financial pickle and I'm one of the 'good guys.' There's a slew of people who would vouch for me (I'm not selling right now) and who were my angels during the divorce. Please don't think everyone on there is wicked.

@Whitney They're talking about evilbay and their fees and 1 seller XP not all sellers. They're frustrated at Ebay the company, not you ;P

And I'm sorry to hear that! Evilbay is evil ><! I always pay my fees the day they come in and don't do the automatic thing. Though if you're leaving evilbay it's probably the best time as they're changing their policy to where if you don't make your fee payments on time, they'll put a late fee on it -.- making people pay more even if they're 1 day late or have no idea about this new policy, they'll be sucked dry of all their money @.@.

Ahh I just got off the phone with ebay and now they are sending a "courtesy email' asking them nicely to please pay. :/ And I guess my fees did add up...I had no idea it would ever be that much, they told me over the phone as well everything I was charged for -.-
And thanks for the support everybody! I was completely like in rage this morning and when I got to school so I needed to rant where people would listen xD

Glad they are trying to get the issue with the other person delt with... I freaked the first time i got hit with fee's too... One of the first things I ever sold on ebay was for over $150.00... and i sold a bunch of other pins that month. The fees about blew my mind. The only way they can automatically take a payment from your paypal is if you have set it up that way. At some point while setting up your account you must have selected auto pay. And their email invoices suck, no breakdown of fees/charges, just a "you owe this, by this date." rediculous. Invoices should have an itemized breakdown automatically.

I try not to use ebay for selling anymore, I sell on here. But I do still buy occationally. I totlly understand the frustration. Usually they are pretty good about notifying you of actions/steps they are taking when you file a complaint.... That surprised me.

Well I was just stupid with the buyer and I trusted him too much. :// And the charges are insane-.- Well they said that thy had 4 days to pay or else I would get a fee, except the guy told me to cancel the transaction.....another stupid decision. I just did this all to myself. But hey, you live and learn x) Whatll happen if i dont hve enough money to pay the fees?

and it's great for buying pins! I have gotten great ones from ebay, just the selling matters with fees that I didn't even know I had. :/ and scammers.
