DSF Marquee Question.
Would you believe I once had the Walle Marquee along with many others and about a year ago, I could not give these pins away. So on this Forum, a member bought mine for, if I remember correctly, about $60? Now look at it. Guess I'm keeping my other ones for now?
Question is cash in now or hold on for it to be even a better trader? HOT last for how long? Disney Dreams Collection come to mind.

Its seems odd that even some of the less desired marquees are still hard to find. I need a POTC: At World's End to complete the POTC saga but I have yet to see that posted for sale any where. I've tried PinPics but the people listed for trading also listed it in their Want list too so now I'm confused. *sigh*
I am not a Marquee person, per se. I see the appeal in the series, but it is just not my cup of tea, so to speak. I know I have been trying to get my hands on the Avengers Marquee, because if Disney ever starts doing pins that I would collect, i.e. Disney Characters as Marvel Heroes/Villains and vice versa, I would want that Marquee as the center piece in my Marvel Pin Book (the DSF comic book covers were just eh, IMO). I have tried offering DA100s, LE250s, multiple pins, etc, and no one is either will to trade, or they want to trade the entire set of Marvel, which I do not want. I think some people have unrealistic values on some of these new Marquees, which is driving the entire sub class of pins higher and higher.

I know! I had a pile of them in my trading bag at one time. I've had my kids go through everything just looking for *one* more. No luck yet though...
It is the only pin released by DSF for Sky High with the words 'El Capitan Theatre' on it. That's about the limit of it's official status as a marquee...
Other than that, it's really up to the collector. It doesn't have an image of the actual theater marquee on it, so I suppose technically, it's not. But, if they had thought of the 'marquee' design before Sky High came out, I'm sure it would have been on one...
I have it in my collection, in my display case (it's even in the Avatar image if you can make it out). But I don't really see a problem with a marquee collection not having this pin. Going strictly by design, it doesn't fit. But it is what the DSF released as a 'marquee' pin for that film.
