Dumbo - PODM - It's the Baby Mine scene!
Hopefully there's something left for me when I go on Saturday!
 
DLR is sold out of any with dumbo or Timothy at least that's what they say, paradise pier has ostrich butts and so does disney hotel, I was so disappointed that all I could get was the giraffes

I think it will be the whale scene. They had been choosing ones that weren't super popular so it seems =D. I am esxcited about the Dumbo scene! It was one of my favorites. I looked on Ebay this morning to see which scene it was and teared up because I used to watch with my dad. I'm going tomorrow to get my pin =)

I did start a new collection of butt shots lol i have nana, and the ostriches facing away from the camera with thier heads in the ground, not one not two but 3 butts in one shot! I love it. now to get the horses back end from cinderella!

Oh my gosh! LOL! I didn't know you had so many butts! Hopefully there is a good Pinocchio butt next month... hehehehehe hahahahaha
 
That could be. Luckily, it doesn't look like there are too many scenes without the major characters (if it turns out to be that scene, please let there be no filmstrips of the Russian dancers spinning around!). I'm sure there will be pics of Pinocchio, Jiminy, Stromboli and the various marionettes if it is that scene.

I went to Disneyland hotel and Paradise Pier Hotel. All they had were zebra butts and ostrich butts. World of Disney had alligators and giraffes. Pin Trader shop had THREE pins with DUMBO in them! I was so happy I got this one!

I hope the Pinocchio scene is the first ten minutes of the movie; with Gepetto, Jiminy, Cleo, Figaro and Pinocchio! That is my favorite moment in Disney animation! (besides the Beauty and the Beast ballroom scene) lol.
 
WOW! SO I ended back up at DLR this evening, after being there at opening this morning. Just figured I'd try and see what cels were left about, checked at LGM and they had 4 pins left total (or so they said). I really get disgusted with the rudeness of their CMs and frustrated at their lack of decent customer service when it comes to pin people in Tomorrowland...it just baffles me. I'm the only person within 20 feet of your counter...letting me see more than two pins doesn't seem unreasonable when you say you only have 4 total left. Being curt with guests isn't a front line problem, its gotta start higher elsewhere in the dept.

But I digress, good luck getting any if you havent yet! Fingers crosses more are "found" overnight!
 
I searched here at paradise pier today and they had hyenas and ostrich butt. Then went over to pin traders and found zebras and giraffes (bought those) and hippos, world of disney was sold out (so she said), and I found tigers in frontierland. Sadly, no dumbos. But its ok. At least I got a couple of cute ones. Love the big cats!
 
Sorry to hear some people had some rotten luck

We lucked out & asked a really nice CM at World of Disney to check if they had anymore because we were looking for Timothy.
He went in back & came out with a bag full of really cute Dumbos.

No Timothy, but still a nice gesture by a CM to help us out, & we still ended up buying some extra Dumbos to hopefully trade for Timothy
 

Around what time was it when u went? I ask cuz when I went the cm didn't seem to know what I was talking about. And said what was on the wall was it. I knew that wasn't right cuz they kept those behind the counter. I may go back tomorrow just to see

It was late, around 10:30 pm?
The person I asked was the lead, generally a lead will be overall more aware of the realease, and sometimes more helpful.
Sometimes not, simply because of the chaos caused by things like that.
He pulled the bag out for us, & they sold out again within 5-10 minutes?
They pulled down another full of the animals that will probably sit there a while.

It's really just about being nice & patient.
CMs are people too
 

I'm always nice I have seen some people be extremely rude to cm's, for really no reason. I hate that. Anywho, they were really busy when I was there, it was around 9pm'ish. So I just let it go. I may look around again, if not im ok with that to. Thanks for your reply!
 
Oh yes, butt pins. As I was looking through pins I kept seeing what I thought were clouds of smoke, but it was actually ostrich hiney with big flumes of feathers! I was at HS and MK, and I felt like there were a lot of circus animal scenes, but there was also a pretty good amount of Dumbo. The only other character I saw was one with a cute shot of Timothy Mouse!

I do like Baby Mine, but I was kind of hoping the scene would be from when Dumbo was dressed up as a clown, lost his feather, and started to fly still (and then got the peanuts to shoot at the people that were mean!) *lol*
 
P.S. I wouldn't try WOD tomorrow, at least not in the AM because of the yearly sale (annual passholders, DVC, D23, and Club 33).

I love that scene! I was so happy when he shot peanuts at the people and the mean elephants who always made fun of him. Payback disney style! :lol:
