I found a seller on ebay selling quite a few lots of 10 that im interested in but don't want to get fakes. I looked at his feedback and none are negative. Usually I see someone posting they are scrappers or fakes or something. I was just curious what you guys think of their stuff before I purchase. Still new to all of this and trying to get a collection going.

Personally, I'm an opponent of buying lots of pins off eBay. I'm heard way too many horror stories of people getting fakes and scrappers because of buying lots off eBay

p19 the hook is dull and has underfill.
p17 multiple pins have "streaks" and a dull finish.
p16 some look nice, but the bottom row.... dull and streaked.

Too many of the pins in each lot are suspect and I would not buy them. Many of the pins are known to have scrappers and counterfeits in circulation.

p25 is ok. and the "bambi" looks like it might actually be Faline. which is a good thing.

Wow I didnt even notice those things! The one I really want is P3 and I went back and my favorite one in the middle is very dull :/
Hmm Maybe I will take a chance at it If I can get a good deal on it. Thank you for the attention to details though!!

I recommend just looking for the middle pin. I can tell just by the coloring of that pin that it is fake.

Yup. You'll have to edit your first post and take out the link entirely and ask people to PM you instead.

I've never purchased from this person but I, too, am a bit hesitant with lots. Especially since the same seller RE-sells the SAME lot over and over again. Just makes me think that they might be scrappers. Just my 2 cents.

eBay seller states in listings that although all of the pins are acquired from Disney parks through trading, he isn't an expert and therefore can't guarantee if they are genuine or not. This is the risk you have to take with eBay. Seller also accepts returns within 14 days and buyer must pay for returns.

You are right about that middle pin as well, it does look quite dull :|

may i suggest Pming bricklayer....he is a mod on here i believe, if not he has been on here for a long time and is on the up and up. i saw he was selling lots of 10 and he garuntees he bought them all himself and they are 100% real. maybe buy from him?
