Hey gang! I am going to close this thread for now as there's a lot of time before it starts and I've got too many threads rolling right now. XD I'll revive it in September. Thanks!

Hey gang! As a special treat, I should be going to the EPCOT 35[SUP]th[/SUP] Anniversary celebration that takes place on or around October 1[SUP]st[/SUP]! Disneypinsblog.com has announced the following pins, so I figured I would offer up some pickups. :) Boyfriend and I will be there, so we should be able to snag a decent number of things, but, of course, it’s always a toss up depending on how the turnout it. :)

Again, these won’t be released until October 1[SUP]st[/SUP], or late September at the earliest, so no need to worry with paying just yet. Also, if there is a really big demand and we can only get so many, I will do a random drawing for the pins since they’ll likely sell out the day of, or shortly after the release. Just as a heads up.

Cost will be: Retail + Total Tax on your order + $1 surcharge per pin* + shipping** (+ paypal fees if sent as goods rather than gift).

**Shipping is $3 for US shipping for the first pin, then $0.50 per additional pin, up to $7, which gets you Priority 2-Day (excluding orders with unopened mystery boxes). I’m happy to hold pins for the entire month to save on shipping if you are grabbing multiple pins.

**FOR INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Please be sure to mention this in your comments so that you get the correct invoice the first time. Shipping just a few pins to Europe and overseas is a whopping $15!! Canada is a more moderate $9. I’m happy to hold pins for several releases to maximize on shipping cost. OR if you trade with someone stateside, I’m happy to send your pins to them and only charge you for US shipping (if it’s okay with them, of course). Please let me know your preference when you request a spot.

Finally, since prices and edition sizes have not been announced, the prices listed here is just an estimate based on past releases.

Oh no, I hadn't seen these! Forwarned, for Epcot's 30th it required standing in a really long line to get into MouseGear. We got in line at the front corner of MouseGear (near the door where the hats are) and you went into the door in the breezeway to the registers at that end of the building and it still took 2 HOURS to get through the line. The line itself stretched all the way down to Mexico. I will not be there this time, so I have a feeling I will end up needing to buy my Dad lunch at Toothsome over at the Dark Side place.

I figured it would be pretty hairy. XD the Magic kingdom one was rough too. Sunscreen is definitely a necessity. Hahah! But there's a few of these I want for me, so I might as well grab more while I'm at it. XD

That does beg the question... How early should we get there? XD MK wasn't TOOO bad. It wasn't Pandora level, at least. XD

I heard the 30th was really bad... When Star Wars weekends was still happening, I got there at 12 and slept in a camping chair to make sure I got the item I wanted.

I think for the 30th, we got there about an hour before park opening, and then speed walked as fast as we could to MouseGear. The only thing that had sold out after our 2 hour wait was the Vinylmation set. It was bad, because they had like 5 registers and you only got your items when you reached the register. So you know how people inspect their items like it's a 2 carat diamond... Unlike at the MK's 45, or AK's 15 where the "inspection station" and registers were two different places. So the people that needed to look at everything with a magnifying glass didn't hold up the line for those that just needed to quickly glance to make sure no enamel was missing or broken hinges.

I love this forum. So this is what I said about the 30th. I guess we only got in line 40 minutes before opening, not a full hour. But I had forgotten the OE edition stuff was released early. So pay attention starting the last week of September. There was plenty of pins on Oct 1, but the T-shirts sold out when they put them out a few days early.

I posted in the meet thread, that I don't think happened because people were stuck in the line, lol. My Dad and I got to the turnstyles about 8:20. Proceeded quickly to Mousegear and got in line below the wine bottle at the corner entrance. Two hours later we got our pins. Only the LE stuff because we bought the open edition stuff the night before. While in line I did find a manager with a lanyard full of APs. So I got 2 and my Dad one. I also managed to trade for the CM lanyard only pin, but my Dad didn't find one. I also need the Living Seas pin from the mystery set to have a complete set. We were able to attend all 3 event presentations and it wasn't too bad of a day. But I didn't expect it too be so hot everyday of my trip. Now I'm just about to board my plane back home.
