Feedback
Yes!What about neutral feedback? "Requested pins, on hold for X weeks, no payment, stopped communicating." I feel in order for the feedback system to be effective, it needs to protect BOTH sides of the transaction. Obviously, negative feedback for paying and not receiving protects potential buyers from bad sellers, but how does the feedback system protect sellers from bad buyers? Sure, Brea can keep track of a username, but that protects no one else. Sellers have the right to sell their pins in a prompt time frame. And it's just courtesy to tell a seller that you aren't interested anymore.
Just as an FYI - a seller CANNOT leave negative nor neutral feedback on any BUYER. Only a BUYER can leave less than positive feedback. Also, if you leave negative comments in a Positive Feedback -Ebay will remove it as well...if requested by the BUYER.
All a Seller can do on Ebay with a Non-Paying Bidder is open and case in the Resolution Center; and then hope they pay. If after that..and they don't pay -Ebay will return to you the listing fee and the commission charged. Then you have the choice to put the BUYER On your Blocked Buyer List...but that is about the worst you can do to them.
Wish I had better news..but EBAY is BUYER focused.
And a quick PS - Ebay is actually the BEST place to buy pins..even if they might prove fake -as there is a Buyer Protection Policy -that is pretty easy going and refunds money for basically any reason -even "I changed my mind"....
My 1 Cent..(I used to have 2 cents.. but I live in California and the taxes just increased..AGAIN).
