I'll sound like a broken record, but its good to hear that your first experience went well! There's times when you go to the trading tables and you make some great trades with really nice people, and then there are those days where you have stern faced, almost sad looking people with their pins. As for the best days to go, weekends are always good, but if you're thinking during the week, Thursdays seem to be good days for pins (at least in my experience).
I am so happy you had a great first pin trading day! Connie is a sweetheart she was there for me through a tough time she messaged me everyday near enough and she was even kind enough to send me some things for cross-stitching which I am new to, hugs for you Connie :hug: you're a star!!
Aww that's a lovely story. I might be going to WDW in December and am quite nervous about approaching people. If only people had "jerk" or "fun" on their foreheads it would be much easier

I have never traded in person and I CAN NOT wait until I get there in April and have David at my side helping me get started. I, too, am on the shy side.

That's such a great story. Very encouraging for those of us who haven't ever tried trading with people (non-CM) at the park. I have the same reservations- and especially reading about people being turned away and told to see a Cast Member for trades. 
I'm in Florida though- are there good areas at WDW to meet other pin traders?
