What time are you guys planning on lining up??? for those who have camped out at Disneyland for a few hours for things like this what are you allowed to bring - chairs? blankets? Please let me know. I have only camped out at DSF and WDI. Any advice is appreciated!

Facebook just announced you can line up at 11pm Thursday night and DCA opens are 9am Friday. (I foresee the new Starbucks location being Crazy busy on it's first day!) I think I might join the crazies and wait all night. If they will let me park overnight why not? I think I'll bring a folding lawn chair and a jacket. My traders and a book. If I had a family here I am sure you could go store stuff before it opens, maybe use the lockers at the very least, but I'm alone for the day so it's whatever I can manage to carry on my own.

Can't help with advice, but wish everyone a good time. We've been talking and maybe we will visit Cars this fall. Hoping for clear skies and please post pictures. Especially want to know about the restaurant. We've heard good things.

I have to wait until NEXT weekend to go =( Hopefully it won't be as crowded next weekend. Good luck to ALL who camp this one out, and get those Opening day pins!

Please be aware that the people waiting are only allowed outside of security on both sides of the entrance to Esplanade. People that were camping were either waiting through Downtown Disney or Harbor Blvd. I don't know what time they will allow entry to Esplanade but would expect no later than 6:30 am. There are new lockers in the new Buena Vista Street at the very end. I saw them when we visited the preview last Saturday. It's going to be crazy, good luck to all.

Found more details on their blog, check it out.

I know an IT manager right now, he's a personal friend of ours. He's opening up Carsland! He created the wait time signs and Fastpass machines.

I would so camp out also. But my girlfriend has work Friday morning, we'll be there around 4, hopefully it's not to late to get the new pins being released that day.

They are supposed to announce on the disney blog today about a seperate wait line just for merchandise. Maybe we get fed in through a different way but if there is a seperate line for pin, etc. then maybe I won't wait all night. Then again, I think it will be less hassle to sleep over night than it will be to try and park in the morning!! We've heard from many CM's they are planning to bus in people from Angel Stadium and the Duck's pond.

Yeah this all sounds so crazy - I am on the fense about whether or not I want to spend the night in the esplanade. lol . . . But Mark, on that blog it says to review what u can and cant bring and it says we cant bring charis - does anyone know if they enforce that? Anyone who maybe spent the night for the one more disney day ears???

The link also says we can go back to our cars briefly. The link says no backpacks with wheels but I see people that have/use those. If someone can bring a loaded down stroller why can't I bring a folding chair??

Can someone post on friday or sat. where exactly they're selling all the carsland opening day pins/sets, so that I'll know ahead of time when I go to DLR on Sunday the 17th? Thanks so much!

I think if you are on the DTD side you can have chairs and all that stuff, but once you pass the security tents is when you have to comply with the list. Which, can be at any point if they move the line.

Radiator Springs Racers looks amazing! I can't wait until the day I visit DLR!

I think it's the coolest ride there. Not as "thrilling" as Space Mountain in my opinion but definetly fun. You stroll through Radiator Springs inside and see all the character. There are different scenes you see. Similar to Test track when you go through the car testing stations with turns, bumps, acid wash test, etc. Then you race. But the race seems slower than Test Track. Oh, I just looked it up. RSR's is 40mph while Test Track is 60mph. I knew it felt slower. Kind of a let down that it was so slow. I was hoping for some kind of power sliding type move at the turn but that didn't happen either. I took a video of the first 3/4th of the ride, I'd post it if people didn't complain about a spoiler alert. It's dark and I used an iPhone so it might not be the best quality. Actually just youtube search it, there's a few videos up already.

Ok, so I posted a question here (Comment #46) -> http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/bl...rnia-adventure-park-when-it-opens-on-june-15/

But I have to go now to Disneyland (I know, I have to go right!) So I can't see their blog because iPhones and Flash don't like each other. If they answer my question can someone post the response here so I can read it on my phone later?

NEVERMIND, She answered my question! WooHoo. Now, decisions decisions. I think I go, sleep in my car until 5am in parking lot, then go in Merch line. Just to avoid all the morning crap of trying to get in parking, etc...

I hope we can bring chairs - i cant imagine that many hours without one! I just wanted to see if it has been done before since i have never camped out for the opening of a park lol . .

You could almost put that to a Beach Boys tune...

And just an FYI from a Leap Day camper. There were tons of folks with chairs, air mattresses, sleeping bags and such. So yes bring your gear, but be prepared to move it all back to your car before the line moves. I would say about 5am or maybe a bit earlier.

I am tempted to camp out with ya folks and sing Beach Boy tunes all night, but since Leap Day I have decided my bed is much more comfortable than concrete.

Does anybody know if the new pins are only being released in DCA or in DLR also?? Cause if markheardjr is 400th in line. There's no chance of me getting my pins later on today. :(

About 600 in line, pins are only at DCA but limit 1 each per person. Come get a "I was there " pin!!

Also a new CM pin!!!
