Fraud Trading Alert!!
Everyone please be careful trading in Vegas over the mail!!
Follow link for Person(s) name and info
He trades than blocks you!
Worst of all he sends empty envelopes!

If you have traded with him do not open the package under any conditions, take the un-opened package to your local police department explain the situation than ask them you file a report, let the police open the package so that it’s in the report that it arrived empty and not allegedly empty. This is illegal mail fraud and the more record there are the more of a chance he/she can get into legal problems

update: his lies are getting mixed up, he is emailing one person saying it's not him and we are going after the wrong person. In another he is saying he is upset his personal information is getting used. But all these messages are coming from the same email... So.....

Crap! Just mailed one but guess what? I'm going to Las Vegas and I'll take the package in person to the police department! This way it is filed in his state and town!!!

Tgen police can go to his home if need be.

Regardless, thanks for posting Ozzie. I was about to make a major trade with him for the Rapunzel chair pin. Thank god I didn't.

Don't think you can type names on the forum. Regardless, the trade he offered to me last week was too good to be true so I'm very glad I declined.

We need to figure out who all has been scammed, and of what pins specifically. That information, when taken to the police, can elevate the situation as well as the potential charges. If someone goes to the police and says, essentially, they were scammed of $80 worth of merchandise, the police aren't going to put that much effort into it. However, if we can have a list of people, with the merchandise, and the estimated value, it is certain to be enough to garner some attention.

Im always a bit weary trading on pinpics, thanks for sharing this!! I usually keep my trades to DPF only as i worry about this so much

Anyone scammed by this person?

Pm me the trade information, proof, such as emails and post office receipts.

I'll make a list as I'm going in about a week and half and I will gladly go to the police as I just sent an expensive pin yesterday!

I have no problem having the police escort me to is door, to get my pin!

Vicki

Ummmm yeah I'll believe that when I see it.

I just did a trade with this person a few days ago. I then told my friend huertajv, Vicki, to trade. Now I'm feeling conflicted here.

I plan on going to Vegas too, so wondering how this will play out. I guess I'll watch & see. Maybe I will be visiting the Po Po too!

Umm their story isn't consistent. First the say that they are quitting pin trading. Then, they said they can just buy a pin buy selling one that they own. That's super fishy.

Update: went to check my email and they said they were sending it back too, once they receive it, because they could no longer do the trade. Hmm

Well, let's hope for the best and I'd prefer not to go to the police, not my scene, but much safer for them, then me going to their house!

I love that he brings up filing a police report here, and lets you know they won't do anything about it. Why would he include that information at all? It'll be interesting to see if he actually mails the pins back. If he's mailing them tomorrow, everyone should get them back by Friday. Otherwise, the police will certainly be involved, and actually there is something they can do about it.

In a previous message I told him I had seen warning about him, and that if I didn't get the pin he was supposed to send, or my pin back, that I would be filing a police report. But yeah I liked that too.

It's funny to me that people don't seem to realize that this is a very tight knit community. You can't really have a bad rep and get away with it for long. :nono:

I e-mailed him which is what resulted in him responding to everyone. I said that he could be potentially getting himself into some serious trouble as mail fraud is a Federal Offense. If the right steps are taken its not something that would be ignored by local law enforcement. I suggested that he make right on his trades and unresolved issues immediately. He seemed understanding as to why I was no longer comfortable trading with him and he also seemed like he might have been rattled enough as to rectify everything. Good luck everyone and thanks for looking out Ozzie.

What scum. I'm sure if everyone has receipts that you sent him anything, it would work. Print them out, take them to the police station. You should take it to his local police station or have everyone print one out and have everyone go to their local police station with the information everyone reported. Maybe if they see a lot of people from everywhere are getting affected they'll take notice quickly.

If you went through paypal to print out the shipping label and didn't keep the bottom slip (you should always!) they have the information on your account. Just in case someone needs to prove they sent their pin out.
