My favorite holiday movie is Scrooged. I'm a huge Bill Murray fan and this movie strikes an excellent balance between humor and sentimentality that is perfect for a holiday movie.
I LOVE Scrooged. Carol Kane is the best!!! I also make my family watch Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation and Nightmare Before Christmas every year on Christmas Eve.My favorite holiday movie is Scrooged. No worries. Thanks for sharing and Merry Everything to you as well!Oops! I didn't read that you share 1 of the following, I thought share ALL of the following! Lol! Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and happy Hanukkah!
My favorite holiday movie is Love Actually because I have watched it every holiday season with two of my good friends for as long as I can remember and those two friends make me happy.(Well, all of my friends do, but they are some of my oldest friends!)
I love decorating our Christmas tree - now trees every year with only Disney ornaments. We had to get a second tree two years ago to fit them all. I love checking at the Disneystore every week starting in late September to see if that years ornament designs are out. We may need to look at getting a third tree or trading up to a really large main tree. We don't even put our Disney balls on anymore.
As my son gets older and older it's harder and harder for us to get him to do family things. , luckily decorating the tree is still something we all come together for.
Cranberry Christmas Cake (similar to a coffee cake)
This is a hit at my house every year and it is AMAZING! Hope y'all enjoy it as much as we do. Perfect for breakfast or a bite of something sweet during the day.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- ¾ cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
Preheat oven to 350°F. With a stand mixer, beat the eggs with the sugar until slightly thickened and light in color, about 5-7 minutes. The mixture should almost double in size. The eggs work as your leavening agent in this recipe, so do not skip this step. This mixture should form a ribbon when you lift the beaters out of the bowl. Add the butter and vanilla; mix two more minutes. Stir in the flour until just combined. Add the cranberries and stir to mix throughout. Spread in a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 40-50 minutes, or until very lightly browned and a toothpick inserted near the center of the cake comes out clean. Let cool completely before cutting. Small pieces, about 1 x 2 inches, are easy to serve at a party.
- 12 ounces fresh cranberries

One of my favorite holiday memories is walking through magic kingdom Main Street when the fake snow is falling. It was so magical and I felt so much joy! I love all the lights around Disney and how beautiful the castle looks at night. Something out a dream!
