My Wreak it Ralph case says '51st' and my Frozen case says '52nd' so I think your case is fine! Mine are both blu rays too and I am in the UK :)

Officially, it's the 53rd full length animated feature from Walt Disney Animation Studios...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Walt_Disney_Animation_Studios_films

But I prefer the UK's way of numbering the films because I'll be six feet in the cold, cold ground before I recognize "Dinosaur" as one of WDAS feature films. (I actually have no idea which one the UK doesn't count but I'm hoping it's Dinosaur hahaha)

Doesn't the US include the 2011 Winnie the Pooh film? And that's what throws the numbering off because in the uk we don't include it? I actually like Dinosaur lol prefer it over home on the range.

I don't know if its 100% correct but apparently both Dinosaur and Winnie the Pooh(2011) are omitted off from UK's classic replaced with "The Wild" instead??? Can anyone confirm this as I'm finding only the US classics list in search queues...

Thanks for clearing that up guys :D I think it's stupid though Winnie the Pooh is very much loved over here and why do they feel the need to do everything different in UK/US *rolls eyes

That's incredibly disturbing to me. As much as I love Disney, The Wild is one of the few movies that actually makes me cringe. I try to pretend it's not Disney. Lol

I can't believe disney dished out chicken little, the wild, meet the robinsons and bolt to be honest . Can't believe these are classics? I think lilo and stitch was the best one before them and it took 8 films to redden themselves with princess and the frog.

Not "officially". The UK has a different classics list to the US. So it might be officially the 53rd US but it's also the 52nd UK classic.

All countries seems to have their own system.
I know Denmark didn't include Dinosaurs as well (for many years I actually didn't know it was a Disney movie. I hated it as a kid, because I was a dinosaur geek and that movie had too many mistakes  ) but to make up for it (to still have the same amount of classics) they included little chicken.

Even though Dinasour and Winnie the Pooh are not in the Uk classic list I still include them as my collection didn't feel complete without them. Dinasour is a lot better than the wild or home on the range etc so no idea why we didn't include it.

Wait, people don't like Dinosaur? But it's so amazzzzing! It was one of my faves as a kid, along with Emporor's New Groove (I got them for the same bday, so they'll always feel like they go together in my head).

What don't people like about Dinosaur?

As a movie alone it's fine. Not great but not terrible either. My personal problem with it is its inclusion in the Walt Disney Animation Studios line of films. I feel for a film to be included it should be a fully ANIMATED film. Not live action filmed environments superimposed with realistically rendered CGI dinosaurs and lemurs. It's just so, so different from the other 52 films that it sticks out like a major sore thumb.

Saludos Amigos and The Three Caballeros have the same issue in my eyes (lots of live action in what should be an animation only film to "count") but them being classics from the 1940s I give them more of a pass. Plus many parts of them were fully animated while Dinosaur had live action in every single shot.

The Wild should not be counted in ANY country's numbering system as it's not even a Disney film, period! It was merely distributed by Disney, the same way Disney distributes Studio Ghibli films in western countries. It's extremely odd that some countries count that film in their numbering system.

Okay, that's totally valid. I always forget the dinosaurs are animated over live scenery. It's so well done it all just feels animated to me.

I've never seen the other 2 movies you mentioned, but it almost sounds like the same idea as including Mary Poppins or Song of the South in the collection, which obviously wouldn't work. And I always thought the Wild was Disney! I just thought it was during their drought period and that's why it was bad. It was like a poor man's Madigascar.
