Holy crap, he is actually in the animator collection. That is shocking. LOL.

ugh i'm a little... a lot... hung up on the fact he has molded hair though!!
it shouldn't be a production issue since England from it's a small world had pretty short hair and he seems just fine.
/rage

but i'm still glad kristoph made it as an animator doll.

I agree... I kind of understand the 12 inch classic males having molded hair but the toddler doll is not only taller but on a much bigger scale. There really isn't much excuse for him not to have rooted hair. He is still adorable though.

Personally I'm a fan of molded hair, I think it often looks truer to the film. With hair as short as Kristoff's I can see it needing to be cut just so to look like the film, and that would take the cost up a fair bit.

I believe the IASW boy had a rather blunt hair cut? so it was easier to get away with. I think non-molded hair would look good, but if they aren't going to cut and style it correctly (like the did with LE Eric for example) I'd much prefer the molded hair. (I'm also thinking of the MLP FIM toys that have "real" hair when the molded hair ponies look so much more like the show). Just my two cents, either way I am SOOO happy they made him and if they do a make a Tink I'll flip (hopefully they'll add the whole Pixie Hollow crew and a Sofia the First!!!!!!!!!!!! ~ I love Sofia).

A Tinkerbell Animator Doll is being released in stores today!!!

I need that Kristoff doll so bad! The girls will get the toddler Elsa and Anna for christmas gift, and they need Kristoff to!!! (Yes I use the kids when I want something to justify the buys for hubby  )

A baby Sven would make my whole year I think!

Is this in the US? As she doesn't appear on the Disneystore website. I have a feeling that the new animators will be coming out on Monday as they usually do most of the merchandise releases earlier in the week.

I'm really surprised they didn't release them a little before now as I think they would've been under a lot of Christmas trees. Saying that if they are released Monday those lucky enough to get to a store could still have them under a Christmas tree :)

Oo it anyone sees the tinkerbell I'd love to see a picture ! Is there a thread for animator dolls? I really wanna see how they do tink hehe

I hope disney read this and see how much everyone wants a baby Sven!!!

Do you guys think that the singing Olaf will be back in stock (in the Uk) . I saw a couple of them on ebay but the price is

Im not sure, I hope so! I hope the £12 olaf is back too as I really wanted him  Also singing Elsa has sold out now too :(! THis is crazy haha. I was hoping to get singing anna and elsa in the sale as I cant really justify a £50 spend on them both hehe

I'll be very surprise if the 12£ Olaf doesn't come back . Well , tomorrow I'll probably go to the Trafford Center Disneystore , I'll see what I can find but I have little hope :)

Was just going to say looks like our guess was right in relation to the bluray release of Frozen. So it would make sense that the dolls would be up for preorder (along with the bluray release) around January 10 or at least the official announcement would be made on January 10 letting us know when the items will be up for preorder.

I just got my singing Anna and Elsa from UPS yesterday, they're truly lovely!!! Just wish it hadn't of cost $80 to get them. I'll be getting the 17" LE dolls for Christmas! :D

Here's the Disney store answer when I asked about the singing Olaf :

" Whilst Olaf is currently enjoying Summer in Arendelle, Marilyn, he should be returning to us very soon! Whilst we cannot guarantee an exact date, please do continue to check back on our New Arrivals page. "

OOh yay :)

I was in the Birmingham UK disney store yesterday and they had just got a delivery of lots of singing olafs:) they said they get a delivery every day and literally anything can come in it! They don't know!

Are there typically pre-orders for dolls with the DVD release? I mean, I know for like Ariel and Cinderella, etc. there were... but since Frozen is a new movie, do you think there would be? Usually for the new movies they just do the surprise release the day of (ie: Mother Gothel).

Not necessarily, Rapunzel and Tiana had preorders and Tiana even came with a free bluray. (Not sure about Rapunzel). Don't forget we haven't had a big princess movie release since Tangled so the next lot of LE doll releases could be different to this year where there was no princess movie release. Also if they did a short for Tangled then they may do a short for frozen and we know the last time they did a short they released wedding Rapunzel so there are a lot of opportunities for Disney to capitalise on frozen which at the moment is merchandise gold for them so I definitely see them releasing more merchandise and LE dolls of the girls and maybe even Kristoff in the near future. As to whether or not they will be available for preorder is another question. Don't forget there was speculation the the dolls just released were supposed to be on preorder too but it sounded like Disney changed their minds on that so they may do the preorder thing this time round instead.
