I did the same thing lol I wasn't planning on playing Disney Infinity because I was mad that Epic Mickey was't getting a third installment. Then I saw Anna and Elsa had came out, so, I was sold lol. I have them waiting till I get the actual game next week.
 
I received my Anna & Elsa infinity pack about a week ago. I love how they look, but I was so disappointed to learn that they can only be used in toybox mode :( I thought they were going to have their own world with missions. It would have been amazing to use them outside of the toy box. I was sad, I have not even played with them yet.
 
I can see them making a world for Frozen in Infinity, they made a major mistake going with The Lone Ranger instead! I'm hoping they do Kristoff and Olaf with a Frozen Playset!

I was upset about that too. :( I hope they make a playset for them someday! That and Wreck it Ralph! I think eventually they should have playsets for all the animated features they make figures for because I just can't get into the toy box. I love having missions and doing things and I REALLY want to do them with Anna and Elsa!!!!!

As for the doll releases, I sort of hope there is no pre-order either because I'm broke right now because of all the other dolls and Christmas haha... I could see them either doing both as surprise releases and then if they do a short having Kristoff. I just really really really hope for a coronation Elsa with her hair all the way up and with her crown! They can get away with not doing gloves if they capture the moment where she is holding the staff and orb during her ceremony, since Disney would have no way to properly execute the gloves for her. If they do ANY doll though, I'm sure snow gear Anna will be the first on the docket since her look is more iconic to the film.
 
The way I see it something is definitely happening on January 10 as raised by HausofDe-Vil, the date may not be fixed as it is a strange day for a release (as pointed out most releases generally occur during the first half of the week) but I think we may be getting information released on the Disney Store blog as they do usually release information on a Friday. So what I am speculating is that we will be getting information about the next doll release on January 10.

If we are expecting the next release to be Frozen releases which I would think would be the case as there is nothing else coming out by Disney, the Muppets movie is coming out in 2014 but not until March 21 which after Frozen is released on Blu-Ray so I find it more likely a doll to be released for Frozen than for the Muppets movie.

As January 10 is about 2 months before the blu ray is released (Mar 18) this matches the same release as Ariel, her preorder came out end of Jul 29 with the doll not being released until Oct 1 which is about a 2 month gap as well.

Therefore based on historical information I believe that Jan 10 means information will be released informing people of the dolls and the ability to preorder them the following week (possibly on Jan 13-14) and when the blu-ray will also be up for preorder. Which also makes sense because the Jungle Book diamond edition is up for preorder at the moment and yet it does not get released until Feb 11 so that being said if Frozen is expected to be released on Mar 18 then isnt it expected that the bluray preorder being at least 2 months before hand? So around the mid Jan period?

So to be honest guys unless Disney is expecting to change things up in 2014, based on all the facts and historical releases that we have, it really does look like the next dolls will be a preorder especially since Disney wants to keep the Frozen going, therefore having this steady release of merchandise will keep the hype over Frozen alive up until the bluray is released. Assuming that the date mentioned by HausofDe-Vil is correct (which I have no reason not to believe as they have never steered us wrong before) then I really think we should be seeing more dolls sooner rather than later which is a pleasant surprise compared to last year where we didnt get a release until China Doll in late Feb.

In terms of dolls I think the preorder will just be for one doll and I think it will be Snow Gear Anna. Then during the bluray we will be getting a surprise release Elsa and possibly Kristoff? I just think Disney has recognised that everyone loves their new characters and will release as much merchandise of them as possible (hence the Kristoff Animator). I dunno about Hans, I just dont find him being released due to the fact that there would be three characters already ahead of him who should get a doll before he does. I know Anna and Elsa already have dolls but they are the main characters and are female characters too therefore the dolls are more suited to their character. Either way Im going to be ready and prepared for the Jan 10 in the hope of a new release, yes it is sooner than expected but still it would be exciting to have new dolls!
 
Right there with you! I don't think it would be too terribly out of the question since we got a classic doll of him right away, but he is certainly last on the list of what is expected of Disney behind another Elsa and Anna and a Kristoff, in my opinion.
 
I can see Disney releasing a HUGE amount of Elsa merch, seeing as how her stuff is selling out like crazy.
I just hope that they keep on releasing more and more stuff cause after next year, no more nice frozen merch will come out..

I really really want them to come out with Elsa's castle made of glass or something.. Or some more collectible stuff, like the Brave nesting dolls (which i wish I could get).

Thanks Sian! Makes more sense now lol. Will you be getting both animators? You are lucky yourself as you have the original line of animators. I am now regretting that I did not get Belle as I think she is cuter in her blue outfit than her yellow one!
 
As above, it's in the UK. I was there at opening because today is bound to be insane with shoppers so thought I would sneak in early to get in quick. There were lots of people there as the shutters went up, I could see Kristoff from outside so made a beeline. Luckily everyone else dashed for other stuff! What few Frozen items we do have over here are seriously depleted, and if you like Elsa you are less lucky. It appeared that Kristoff and Tink had only just been put up as there were plenty of each, parents were being pestered by daughters for the toddler Anna and the boys wanted Kristoff, hope they got them!
 
It's manic... The movie is so popular!!! It makes me happy but also nervous for future doll releases as I'm desperate for Anna and elsa in their other outfits hehe! But hopefully this means disney will keep producing more and more merchandise of frozen and hopefully do some short animations too :)
 
I would REALLY REALLY love a WDCC Elsa and Anna, I'm sure they will make one eventually but we probably wont know ahead of time.
