Frozen Disney Store Merchandise, What are you looking forward to? (Contains Spoilers)
Soooo I was just at Metrotown and they don't even have a Frozen display anymore, just a few straggling items on nearby (very bare) shelves. Doesn't bode well in my opinion :/ I sent a message to the Disney Store Facebook asking if there was any chance for the singing dolls to be restocked in the future, but unfortunately only got a non answer in response. I'm getting worried because I really want them, but can't afford LE doll prices for them!!

oh yeah, they got rid of it.
they have some stuff on the wall shelves too, not just the kiosk looking thingy. but not a lot.

i'm sure they will make more. i don't see how the cons would outweigh the pros?

it's just sort of the thing about being patient too. if it works out, it works out (meaning getting it in store). if it doesn't... well, that's a different ray of options but i'm sure it will. D; or else people are going to keep calling in and being like "where is this, where is that?" and i don't see disney being like "lol, you missed out. we aren't making anything cause it's not in our best interests and customers' best interests." ... :l yeah right.

just my take on it and it's what's keeping me from being like "urgh" and flipping tables.

so haaave hopppe.
 
the only thing i could think of is a "attention span"/"turn off the button whenever she sings which might make the mechanism all wonky over a short period of time".

what i mean is that no matter how great the song is, it gets kind of meh, especially with the not too good quality of the singing doll mechanisms and just overall. plus, i always imagined dolls for more "play with it, it will say some short quotes or catchphrases and whoever is playing with it will just incorporate that into their own story that they are creating with the dolls". if they sang for longer, it would just sort of take away from that maybe? and one can always pop in the soundtrack or dvd and have it in the background.

and if i accidentally turned it on... haha, i wouldn't if it played a song for 4 or so minutes and i didn't want to hear it at that moment. if it's 10 seconds, it's fine, and would probably give me incentive to briefly sing along, watch the movie again, or possibly buy more merchandise.

that's me though.
i can totally see the appeal of dolls singing longer.
 
I have been stalking the 4 Disney stores closest to me looking for the Plush Dolls of both Anna and Elsa... with no luck. They have had the Kristoff plush a couple of times, but never the girls... for obvious reasons... That is the only Frozen Merchandise that is on my MUST list now that I have the BR DVD and the Soundtrack... I am having hope that they are going to have another run of the plushies.

I'm on the hunt for the Elsa mug and Journal.

Once I get those two off my list I can start actively looking for the Anna stuff to go with Elsa.
I called metrotown and Guildford, nothing new except for an Anna costume.
 
I'd also love to get the singing dolls eventually. They really are the only things I still need for my collection besides a couple of the plush. And yes the singing dolls have always only sung a couple of lines from their songs. I have the original Ariel, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, and the second Ariel in her pink dress and they are all like that.

I agree with you about the mugs. I had only planned on getting Elsa's and at the last minute decided to get Anna's just to complete the set. I ended up liking Anna's mug so much better.

i like the colors more on the elsa mug than the anna one. it had more details without having more details. LOL
i saw them both in stores and just went with elsa.

i really like how her cape was done and while i wish they made the mug more details, it looks amazing. it captures the softness of elsa too, while some other merchandise she kind of has this fierce look. not saying it's bad, but i like seeing smiley soft gaze elsa.

the anna mug looks like it would be a good mug to have on a rainy cold day. <3

they are both awesome looking!
 
I ended up with 2 Elsa mugs because the first one I got Elsa didn't have a mouth... Literally... It was a hole through her head. Lol.

Luckily my other sister had been ranting about me not getting her the Elsa mug (2 sisters in frozen = I have two sisters) so everything in sets I buy one of each for them. :D

yeah, i was looking at a few mugs, trying to pick one without imperfections and i noticed anna had no nose on one of the mugs. D; poor anna.

You know what I never bothered to look at mine. maybe I should, I do wish the cup with straw and globe comes back soon that one I missed out on.

someone mentioned in some thread that i browsed (the downside of lurking so much is that you forget where you have seen stuff). the globe is apparently coming back to the uk site in late 2014? ... :c...

again, can't see why they wouldn't release it again.
 
Still no luck in finding the elsa mug. I bought an Anna mug recently for retail though and I'm still waiting for it to get to my house. aahh.

I'm gonna get the set of the mugs so I'm just eagerly awaiting to find the Elsa mug.. Maybe someday in the distant future
 
Well yesterday I ordered the baby sven plush and Olaf plush! I said I wasn't buying anymore plushes as I have no room and they seem to take up more space than dolls lol but I caved and got them lol. So glad the uk got the baby sven! I keep wanting to order the Elsa mug online but keep stopping myself because I have about 50 mugs and never use them as I'm scared of breaking them lol. I have said to myself If I see it in store I will buy it but if not I'm not getting it lol.
 
I don't know if these were posted here or not, but TeeFury had a Frozen/Doctor Who shirt special a few weeks/months ago..
And they are available on their Gallery, but they're $18 instead of $11.
There are other princesses available (Merida, Ariel, and Aurora).
Personally, I think the Anna and Aurora designs are beyond perfection. So incredibly impressed with them. XD

Buy 2... and if one breaks, you have the other.
If you choose not to use the other one, you can always profit from it. ;)
 
Good idea, I do use a few but never really needed to use the others! I can just imagine my mums face if I said I wanted more lol she already hates that I filled the kitchen cupboards and my partner says I can't fill the house with mugs when I move out either:( I do have two of my sleeping beauty ones though! As they are my favourite to drink from.
