Frozen Disney Store Merchandise, What are you looking forward to? (Contains Spoilers)
So a lot of singing Elsas are being spotted now. But now singing Anna is no where to be seen. Anyone spot her recently? I am in need of an Anna for a custom :(

I posted here after about a half an hour of it being up, actually. She lasted quite a bit considering! The restock was posted in many groups, including Disney Garage Sale on Facebook (where many scalpers lie). I think this was mostly them! :)

This was the stock they had at Guildford mall in B.C., Canada yesterday.
One of my good friends messaged me that they had the singing elsa doll! So I raced to try and get to the store since they weren't doing holds anymore. Luckily I got there in time and they were still there O.O

This was my haul of frozen items :) I even got a poster from walmart.
This is what the poster looks like~

I pulled my tab off on my singing Elsa so I could hear her sing but never knew how sensitive she is. I had to open mine and try to find the switch to turn her off >.<
But really happy to have her~

The only thing I might be looking for is an Elsa mug but if I don't find it I wouldn't be too disheartened.
 
I am about ready to give up on getting Frozen merchandise(Classic Elsa doll, Doll 2 pack, and Olaf plush and singing plush) but oh well it will be ready for everyone someday and I can wait I refuse to pay ebay prices on any Disney Store Frozen merchandise except the limited edition dolls which will never be restocked

Yeah, I think I've lost interest at this point. If some of these items had been available about a month or so ago I would have been jumping all over it. The only Frozen item I still hope to get someday is an LE Coronation Anna doll to complete my LE Frozen set and that will have to be on eBay. However, I am glad I was able to get the Frozen mug set, which I really like.

Also waiting on the Frozen Vinyl Album set and signed poster, which is supposed to be released this month. I'm really trying not to get my hopes up on that one though as I just don't trust the company that is putting it out. They have such a horrible track record. People have already posted complaints here about their customer service (or lack of, I should say). :| Although I hope I am wrong and they surprise me!
 
lol, i'm way too busy at this point to hunt for things. i don't live close to any of the locations either so going there is a bit of a pain. and as things are selling out in a few hours or minutes, yeah...

but hopefully in the future they restock some of the items and the market gets flooded.

I sent them an email asking them for a ship date and they said "Look at the page"
WTF was that! How can a company not know when they'll ship their items!!
We're 10 days in April and the stupid soundtrack hasn't shipped yet!

I'm like 90% done with Frozen right now.. To the point where I no longer like the movie because of this stupid craze. Calm the f down people! This isn't Lion King or Beauty and the Beast!

Yeah.... I saw someone complaining on MyPlayDirect's Facebook page that some item they'd ordered that was to be released a YEAR ago never even came out... the company seems to be notorious for stuff like this. I've been checking all the sites that advertised and promoted the vinyl to see if there was any updated info... and nothing.

I keep hoping that with Disney backing this, there won't be any problems, but maybe that's wishful thinking. They had a lot of people order the album with the signed posters so if they don't ship out something soon I would assume a lot of people will start complaining. The only comfort is that at least they don't charge your card until the item ships.
 
*adds her humble two cents* As bugged as I can feel at times with the lack of available merch, the hype doesn't change the way I feel about the movie. I love the movie, and I could care less if anyone else does or doesn't or whether or not it's the best thing ever. As far as the merch goes, well, I'm just going to try and be as patient as possible :lol:

I agree. I love the movie and nothing will change that. I like to be surprised when I go to the DS and see something back on the shelf.

I didn't think it was this bad... I looked at MyPlayDirect's Twitter... and OMG..
Every post is of them literally saying "We are sorry, provide us with your order number so we can look into it."
What is wrong with them? Can't they hire someone to manage their damn company??!!

The aggravation about the merchandise hasn't changed my opinion of the movie either. I still love it, but the hype and craziness around the merchandise has turned me off of trying to buy stuff for now. It is too stressful and it seems to bring out the worst in people. I nearly got pushed down and trampled the day I went to pick up my March dolls by all the ultra-aggressive people trying to get at the few Frozen items on the shelf - and I wasn't even trying to buy any of it, I was just trying to enter the store. But of course other people's behavior will never change that it is a great movie! :)

Yeah, I knew all that about them going in but I took a wild leap of faith and ordered from them anyway. I really wanted that vinyl set and then the signed poster deal sealed my fate! Still hoping it will all work out somehow ...

Me too! I use to call in and see if there were merch updates but now I just kind of leave it to chance whenever I make it down to ds. It makes it that more fun when they have something new in stock, and it usually shields me from what I missed out on when I can't get there (since they can't hold anything)

yes, I do agree about taking a step back from searching for merch. I am having to just accept that it will probably be a long time before I ever see a LE frozen pin in my collection. And as little as our store is, it's been ridiculous to see how crazy people get about the frozen items. I thought it was funny when we went to pick up our preorder that moms kept looking at me and my brother- the only people there without kids- with dirty looks as if we were scalpers. (Really? I'm a scalper just because I didn't drag my nieces down for store opening? :|) And yet one of the moms was buying a bucketload of frozen merch... While her kid was requesting Mulan and Minnie toys :lol:


i sincerely hope everyone gets the frozen merch they are hoping for soon!! And Disney, just please keep the restocks coming! =D

I would ignore them no one is too old to buy it. I rather have us collectors buy it then the stupid scalpers

And bucketload? they don't put a limit? on each item. I know stores in California you're only able to buy 2 and 2 only (which is a good thing)
