here we go, guys :) I actually think I like the expressions and details on the 12" ones better, but I still think these are pretty!

Just thought I'd bump this pic. These look so goooood! And this is pretty much how the LE dolls will look, no? Just with rooted eyelashes and more detailed clothes? Or maybe their coronation outfits, I guess.

Oh, wow, I totally forgot about those 17" singing dolls! Those are the ones the actors were posing with at D23, right? They looked damn good. Imagine how much better the LE dolls will look. *off to check DS UK*

Yep those are the ones. Considering how amazing the classic dolls look and how good the singing dolls look like they will be, I am so redicuously excited for limited dolls you have no idea. I'm sure they will be AMAZING.

So again, why aren't the toddler dolls out in the US yet?!!! However, I did find out some cool news. For anyone who is a Star Wars fan, guess who they are doing a toddler doll of??

Who?! Is it a baby Vader?

Can't wait for all the Frozen stuff to hit. I cannot decide if I want to hold off on Small World (which I really want) to make sure I get all the Frozen stuff first.

LOL, at first I was like, Why? Why would you leave me hanging like that? But then, duh, obviously it's Princess Leia. Do they do toddlers of anything but princesses? I'm not a Star Wars fan, but I'm a DAC fan, so I'm gonna need 2 of her. Good lord....

Imagine if they did toddler dolls of male villains, yet alone Star Wars! Vader Maul and maybe Chewie would sell out big time! I have to wait for my wallet to be refilled, for when it does I'm coming after Frozen!!!!

Im new to dolls, so this is prolly a stupid question but... what are coronation outfits?!

Has anyone else noticed the Elsa Singing Doll has blue hands? And I don't think those are gloves. I'm guessing it's to represent her snow/ice powers, but really, we can use our imaginations, I love the rest of the doll, but not sure I like those blue hands.

Oh hey. That's odd. It looks like they might be see through as well with blue paint airbrushed on.

You're absolutely right! I've just found this:

You can zoom right in and Elsa clearly has blue arms from the elbow down! I think it must be as a representation of her powers. Quite cool really, can't wait for them to be released!

I think the pictures that we saw for Elsa are jus prototypes. There's no way the 12" would have all that in her cape but not the 17"

That is extremely cute toddler Leia!!! It does not look like a custom either.....wow I'm always shocked to see of the custom dolls!

Anyway back on topic to Frozen, went to my DisneyStore to get an error fixed on a purchase I made with my $20 off coupon (they only gave me $10). I just happened to glance at the Elsa 12" doll and the first one I looked at had PERFECT hair....so long story short I wound up spending $8 dollars more than saving $10.......but she had literally PERFECT hair!!!

In the upcoming movie Frozen, Anna and Elsa have a different dress than the dolls that have been released at the DS. In the movie they have a ceremony where they get crowned princesses and there dresses are different from Elsa's frosty blue dress and Anna's dress, cape and boots outfit. The dresses in the ceremony are referred to as Coronation outfits. Hope this helps :)

When are the singing dolls being released? Anyone know? Do they tend to sell out or do I have a chance of getting them after work and stuff?!?!!

Well sometimes the classic dolls have more detail than the 17" singing dolls. The dolls also seem to be being shown at some kind of premier. Prototypes don't usually get shown at big shindigs. I wish I could remember what the event was. I'm sure it's buried in this thread somewhere.

Those dolls were shown at D23. I remember that much. They had a whole small section with a bunch of examples of frozen merchandise.

I'm really surprised how much I like my 12" Elsa doll....she is soo beautiful...I have her sitting on my desk and she is all I can look at......wow they really did an excellent job on this doll. I look forward to seeing the 17" singing doll and the 17" LE doll!
