Every time I watch the Frozen trailers it make me more eager to see the movie.....at least I don't have TV anymore so my fiance doesn't have to hear me scream, "LOOK HONEY!!! IT'S MY MOVIE!!!" Which he did have to endure for a year before Brave was released hehe
 
I feel like they have to release something additional when the DVD comes out! It wouldn't be Disney if they weren't bleeding me dry... Lol plus, it seems like they've really picked up the LE doll line by doing some sort of release for theaters (if applicable) and then one for the DVD release, if not more on either if those. We've seen that with Rapunzel and Merida so far, and I don't think they did it with Tiana because the line had not picked up yet/ they hadn't thought of it. I'd love to see male counterparts but only if they do Hans too... Kristoff is ok, but Hans is so much dreamier to me and has more potential to be all "dolled up" I know nothing about the two because I've stayed away from spoilers (except the obvious ones...) until this point! But I feel in my heart that I will like Anna more and Hans.

did anyone notice Elsa's shoes? they're shaped like her ice slippers
and they seem to still be working (maybe) on their greets together? I just noticed Elsa said "ANN-ah" not "AH-nah."

:ugh: they're so pretty i hope we get pictures of the dolls soon :cry:

I think they are cute... but something just is off about them.

The costumes are very off, if that makes sense. Anna's outfit is based somewhat off of a Bunad, and those are typically made of wool(they didn't even use a fabric with a similar texture as wool is very warm). Also, with lack of larger images it looks like the rosemaling on Anna's dress really just doesn't have the feel of proper rosemaling. It looks like a cheaply digitized pattern. Also dem wigs. The idea is there, but the wigs are poorly executed. With Anna's it looks like they just added a platinum blonde streak into a base wig. Some thinning shears would do that wig some wonders.

Then there's the coloring vs. the models. The characters are actually quite pale, whereas the models are tanned - they could have atleast compensated that by altering the colors of their materials and wigs to give the correct illusion. First Norwegian princesses in Disney, and they drop the ball on face characters. /Endrant.

Yeah I agree BCJenna. I don't think they're meshing well together yet. It looks too contrived.
Part of me feels like Elsa might have been friends with Snow White beforehand.... :suspect: just me?

And the wigs + costumes are lacking. The only parts I love are the shoes.

I'm not fond of either of the face characters but I'm extremely picky...Elsa looks so off to me and even though Anna is cute she doesn't really feel like the character to me and when I watched the video on them it made me like them even less. :/ in the video Anna actually annoyed me which is really sad cause I'm in love with her character ffrom what I've seen of her in the trailers. And Elsa... Well I can't even say anything she was pretty blah as a face character for me.

Sorry just my opinion don't hate me.
 
Side note: I'd still take a pic with them if we get them in Disneyland.... I took a picture with Esmeralda a few years ago and she was paler than me!!! And I'm pale. So if that's the only choice I get to take a picture with a character I love I'll do it anyways, even if they look wrong.
 

A pale Esmeralda lol! Did she capture her personality well? Hopefully once the movie's out the meetable characters won't seem as awkward, personality-wise anyways. But yeah, when Disney is looking for someone to play Elsa, they should approach her almost if not in the same manner as they do Snow White. PALE
 
Yea I've had pics with a pale Esmeralda and a Caucasian Pocahontas.... -_-
some years I've had bad luck with who they pick to play our long lost friends....
 

Yeah I really don't like the FC for Elsa, I really hope Disneyland gets some better ones.

When they first get there, I'll take a picture with them whether or not I think they look like them, but after that, if I don't like the Elsa FC I won't take a picture with her. There's certain face characters I'm really picky about and if I feel they don't look like them, I won't take a picture with them.
 
Elsa and Anna weren't meeting again today, their backdrop was removed and the CM said that they were supposed to but it was cancelled at the last minute. I'm keeping an ear out to see if that's it for the preview meet and greets or if they'll end up doing more
