The FC wigs need to be fuller and thicker, and colored better. The wig can make a crappy costume look amazing, but it just isn't there. The inaccuracies of the costume combined with limp, sad looking wigs just makes me go blech. And really? Elsa isn't even pronouncing Anna's name right? I know they are new to the job but come on lol. Maybe once the girls can actually watch the film they will better embody the characters. I remember when Merida first came out she kind of sucked a lot but now I think she's a little more refined (personality wise). I know the costumes have to be lighter weight because of the heat but yeah...not impressed.
 
I think Olaf is ADORABLE!!! I love his personality but I dont really care for any merchandise of him! I adore Sven! And when I can afford it, im definitely getting the Sven plush he's SO CUTE!!!!!

I dont like the top part of Elsa's dress it doesnt fit right with the bottom part! But I think they got Anna's spot on!
 
Man y'all are kinda ruthless! Hahaha.... I see your point, but like you've pointed out, the movie ISN'T OUT YET, so how do you know they aren't capturing the characters personalities correctly? I'll say this.... If I had to play a character I haven't seen except for through very brief clips, I'm sure I'd be a little "off" to. Give it time. They were doing us a favor by giving us a sneak peek

Thanks for posting this! Someone did post some pics of the actual items yesterday but not of a release date. Based on this I believe that dolls will be up for preorder on the 28thof Oct with an expected release of the 25-26th of November around the same time as the vinyls? I was going to say the 22nd but that's a Friday which would be a weird Le release date for Disney.
 

actually, the release date was in the pic I posted! it is on the label where it also says how big the edition size it.

I took the plunge and requested Monday off, so I will be sad if the new wave of merch doesnt hit then!
 
If preorder is on Monday I hope we get sneak peeks at the LE Dolls soon!

I'm excited for the movie, after the latest trailers.
 
Quick question for the doll collectors.

Newbie here. Anna will by my first 17" LE doll. When you say 'pre-order' is that online or in-store? I do not live near a Disney Store, but my dad will be near one on Monday (if that's the day) if I need to recruit him.

I laugh every time I see him say that! My husband thinks I am insane, lol. I even do the voice sometimes, haha! Not too many people seem to like him, but I love him as well as Sven, I think they are both adorable. I love when Kristoff tells Anna her hair is turning white and when she asks, "does it look bad", Kristoff pauses and Olaf says "you hesitated" hahaha. LOVE it, especially since he is lifting his own head to try and be at eye level, hilarious!. Really can't wait to see this movie ♥
 
I'm pretty sure LE Merida was released on a Friday, same day as the US movie release lol. Looks like the same thing will happen with these two.
 
usually with the 17 dolls, the pre order is at 12am pst for online and then when the store opens in the morning for in store but not all DS get limited edition merch so I suggest calling to double check

Thanks a lot! I will definitely check before sending him if need be. Online would definitely be easiest. Haven't done that yet, but I read through the threads on here so I'll know what to expect. Thanks for your help!

Your welcome I can't wait until we can see pictures!! that's what I do, I try online and if need be, I will go to the store. Thankfully, I have one down the street from me and it's a busy location so typically, they get the most LE dolls for the area I live in.

Apologies for that I noticed the LE sizes but didnt notice the release dates, but thanks for clarifying that.


All the details you need to know about the 17" dolls are in the informative thread however blue2581 is correct, the dolls will be released for pre-order both online and in store. When you preorder online they will place a hold on your card for the doll but will then release that after about a month then about a week before the release will take a hold on the card again (but in this case they may not release it at all due to the short time frame between the preorder and the doll release). When you preorder in store you will have to pay it up front in store therefore when the doll is released you just go in and pick it up.

In terms of release times if it is to be released on Monday then you will need to stay up late on Sunday night so that when it hits midnight i.e 12am Monday morning the dolls will be released online for you to purchase. In terms of in store it will be available for preorder in store when it opens on Monday. So in terms of ability to purchase you will be able to do so first online as it is released earlier online compared to the in store release.

Guys it is really important to note that if these dolls are going to be released on the 4th of November instead of next Monday the 28th California will be reverting back to Pacific Standard Time what this means is that clocks will revert back a hour. This change will occur on Sunday 3rd November at 2am so what this means is that in California on Sunday the 2nd the clocks will go from being 2am to 1am instead thus gaining them an additional hour. What this means is that it will affect what "midnight" will be for those of us around the world. This will not affect the guys who are currently on the East coast that already apply EDT as they also revert to EST at the same time as the West coast but it will affect people around the world who either do not apply daylight savings time or apply daylight savings at a different time of the year.

Yes you are right Merida was released on Friday, however that being said the Frozen dolls should be released for preorder either on Monday (28 Oct) or the following Monday (4 Nov) and whilst Merida was released on a Friday in general most other LE dolls were released either on a Monday or Tuesday. So I would consider Merida an out of the ordinary release date, also she did not have a preorder which is also a little out of the ordinary for the princesses.
 
I've been trying to find the links on the US site since I found the links on the UK site. I only started searching after Jennisney posted that the links to the 17" LE were hidden but on the website in the UK. I found a couple of links I wasn't looking for; links to the DFDC sets and 17" Prince Eric, Ursula, and Ariel and finally to the frozen LE and I guess singing Anna if she hasn't been released yet. The Disneystore.com is harder to crack for some reason...maybe since it has longer full item numbers or maybe haven't uploaded the LE Anna and Elsa yet...I've only found the beginning pattern and can't figure out the ending since its different item and.product codes...I try on and off searching since the weekend basically with little luck
 

It is different between the US and UK sites, you will not be able to find the page on the US site because it will not be activated by the US site yet, unlike the UK site the US site will update the site at midnight every night and in doing so will allow access to the new items available on that day. What this means is that you will not be able to search for the items and find the page. So it really is pointless trying to look for the page because it does not exist at this moment in time. This was however different for the preorder of the designer line wherein Disney did release it in advance however you were able to find it by just googling it. So it looks like the page was already an active page on the Disney Store website since you were able to find it in google.

Also regarding your question about the Anna doll, I dont believe it has sold out in the UK I think that might just be a glitch as the items have only been released for several days and are not limited so they may have just run out of stock. They should get some again closer to the release date of the movie but dont quote me on that because that is just based on my opinion and I dont have any fact to back it.
 

I also tried to crack the US site but it is a lot harder! Haha! The uk site is pretty simple! I found the Anna 17" singing doll too and a "castle play set" which had no picture! Also a bunch of Christmas ornaments and stuff too !
