Frozen Disney Store Merchandise, What are you looking forward to? (Contains Spoilers)
Guppy, I agree! There are things that move us and make us cry out of awe, it's like being moved by a piece of art. I don't think it's weird at all. To me these dolls are art and I love adding them to my collection. I even cried watching the latest preview with Elsa, so I I know I will be a ball of tears in the movie. I really can't wait to have Anna & Elsa in my life ♥

I cannot wait either. And the trailers themselves and the clips ive seen have moved me so the movie will do so much more! and like disneykid i agree with your sentiment that they are art because they really are!

I dont know what it is about Frozen but Im really connecting with it and the more I see the more attached I am to it. I can already tell its going to be one of my favorites.

Now bring on Anna!!! haha

Her hair should be paler. Its almost white in the movie but in all the dolls, it's too yellow.

I agree it does look stained, but then again her skin tone has a bit of a purplish tinge to it but just wondering if that is because of the picture quality?

Nov 4th, I guess. Boo!!

Is that a confirmed release date? Sorry I cannot really understand your post other than the date LOL.

Else is beautiful! I personally wish they would both go up for pre-order the 28th. The longer before the pre-order, the more the word spreads. With it up on Facebook and the buzz growing, I think it'll be harder to get them on Nov. 4th rather than this weekend. I know the Little Mermaid is super popular, but it still surprised me that Ursula and Eric sold out so fast. With this 2500 edition size, I worry that we are looking at the same 15-20 minute sell-out time frame. Ah well, I'm going to have my money ready to go tomorrow and if they are up Monday I'll be ready. If not, I'm going to need more coffee for the 4th!!

From Disney Limited edition Dolls Facebook page: From a member of this page, Juan Hernandez:

Disney Store Manager said she received an email confirming November 4th as a release date for 17" Elsa and Anna Frozen LE Dolls. She said it will be first come first serve. She said to call next week to find out how many of each they will be getting. Hope this helps.

Thank you for sharing Juan!

Wow that's so cool! Looks like Nov 4 it is then. I was really hoping it would be this Monday as I really wanted to see them and buy them already but I guess due to the lack of news it will be the 4th. All this means is that we will now have to wait longer, more people will know about the dolls and those of us overseas buying from the US will have to make sure we get the times correct because dont forget guys DST in Cali finishes on the 3rd of Nov!

Anyway im still going to check on Monday as it sounds like they will be releasing some pretty cool Frozen merch on Monday anyway.

I think I will still go down to my DS tomorrow and see if I can ask some questions. May be they have both of the LE doll in already ^^.

Elsa is gorgeous and I look forward to adding her to my collection!!!! Now where are the photos of Anna?!!

So just to clarify, first come first serve means it is an actual release, or is it a pre-order. And if I pre-order online and it is a fast sell out how long until I would know if Disney Store cancels my order? I don't want to skip the store just to get a cancellation email from online if I am too late and they oversell.

I read this on facebook too and it seems like maybe Elsa won't be a preorder but actually for purchase on the 4th?? I hope so that would be awesome :-)

You typically hear about a cancelled online purchase on the same day that you attempt to make the purchase. If you have the chance to get her in person, I would. Online orders carry the risks of dolls coming damaged, orders getting cancelled, or shipped to the wrong place. You can always buy online and then get to a store if it doesn't work out.

Really hope that the dolls are available online as well. My nearest Disney Store is two hours away. I would most definitely do it for the dolls, but it is far more convenient to do it online. Even if I do have to stay up. :hs:

I think she is just breathtaking, and I am actually more excited for Anna! This definitely changes my Frozen doll plans. Looks like I will be holding off on the smaller versions until after Xmas. She does look very true to character (except the hair color) and the dress details are spot on:

Thank you for the information. I will probably try online and then head to the store later. I may have to shift some work hours around though, not too big a deal. When do ya'll think we'll get some date confirmation from Disney?

Ok I am confused is Nov 4th the actual release date or the pre-order date? It sounds like the manager of the store is suggesting that it is the actual release date for both dolls.

The dolls will be available online as well. Generally dolls will always been available online and in store. There were only two dolls available online only and I believe this was Alice and the QoH who were only made available for purchase online.

Nothing is confirmed yet but my guess would be preorder on the 4th release in two weeks before the movie release. It is still possible for it to be first come first serve for preorders in store. Just that you wont be walking out with anything but a receipt confirming your preorder.

Also I have been told that Elsa has a display doll and they generally only make a display doll for preorder sales. But as mentioned by MountedArcherPrincess Merida was released with no preorder and she had a display doll so who know right now it is anyone's guess. I am hoping we will be able to get more of a confirmation on all of this over the next day or two.

Do we know if this is within the UK or the US? Just that the UK never does preorders but the US does. So if this is from the UK then that would confirm that the actual doll release would be the 4th and there would be no preorders. Because if a doll is to be released in the UK then it is a guarantee that it will be released the same day in the US if not earlier.

Gosh sorry I know I am probably reading into things now but I just had that thought and thought I should share.

However if it is the US then I wouldnt be surprised if it was a preorder to be released later in Nov. Maybe as others have suggested Anna will be on preorder on Monday the 28th and then Elsa will be for sale on Nov 4? I dunno too much information and not enough fact results into me reading too much into things! LOL

I'm hoping that the CM's will have more information tomorrow. They are usually updated at least the Friday before the release or a week or so before the release when it is a "surprise" doll. So I'm hoping some of my managers are there and I can get some info. My CM's are really good about letting me know what's going on since I am usually at the store at least twice a week ><.....I really should just get a part time job there since I'm there so much! LOL

The problem with being a Cast Member at the Disney Store is you have to order these dolls online and not in the store, and since these LE Deluxe dolls have been released DS.com has made many errors with them; especially during the delivery process... :(
