Frozen Disney Store Merchandise, What are you looking forward to? (Contains Spoilers)

It looks to me like the regular release has matte pale skin, which looks lovely!

I agree I dont like the shiny skin

I like the color of elsa in the harrods set, it's more true to the movie.

Elsa becomes significantly paler after she "let it go"

Ok, so I am still really wondering if they will do another batch of the girls when the BluRay is released. From my speculations, Elsa is the "Winter Sister" so that is my she is first being sold in the Snow Queen getup, and Anna is the "Summer Sister" so that is why she is being sold in the Coronation gown because she looks so warm and summery. But...in all the imagery and commercials, those two looks aren't worn at the same time. If the movie is as amazing and well received as it is being marketed as, then I will bet they will make the Snow Anna doll (which I bet will happen regardless) and then maybe a Coronation Elsa as well. Snow Anna, no doubt in my mind. Coronation Elsa...I kinda hope so too...maybe we should cry out and demand one!
But also, how could they not make at least one more doll? Sure they normally make about 5000 of each princess, but they split that in half to make the two seperate princesses. I think they will receive more complaints from people that couldn't get them than thank you messages.
Me personally? Thank you for asking. I am completely in love with the Snow Queen Elsa look. I love and adore it. But, I kinda want both looks. The Snow Queen look is so whimsical and gorgeous. And then there is the coronation gown that is so severe and regal. If anything, it would be beautiful to place them together as a before and after.

ALSO!! One last point, I swear! They made their designs COMPLETELY catered to doll making. The girls wear mittens, not finger gloves. Mittens are the only things our dolls can wear!

XD It's good for the dolls but I also think catering to the animators lol! After Rapunzel, (flowing hair strands are a nightmare to handle in 3D!) they probably were like RIGHT, THE HAIR IS GOING TO BE BRAIDED THIS TIME.
Like in Avatar the aliens hair is braided and they dont wear much clothes and all the animal creatures are scaled/hairless because hair, cloth and fur is difficult

I am a fan of pearly paint personally :3 I even sort of like those Novi stars dolls

Excuse my ignorance here but I just thought mittens were what people wore in those regions?? LOL

Was there anything else released last night on the Disney Store? My internet is shocking here as I am currently traveling for work so i couldn't really check.

In relation to the other LE dolls being released on Nov 20th I agree with some of the other members on here that it shouldnt be too difficult to get the dolls, so long as if you are online at midnight and ready to go. As much as I would hate to admit it as it does make me sound like a tool (because I did buy one) I think jrsinger is correct in that most people who bought the Harrods set are probably only buying it moreso for the "look at what I got" factor and the bragging rights. But just to back myself here to not sounding like an absolute tool yes I want it because it is a coveted and exclusive set but also I just wanted it moreso because I am a completest and it would just slowly eat away at me if I ever missed out on it. But yes I do agree that the dolls sold because of the status it would bring rather than the fact that it was because they were Frozen characters. So based on this I think the dolls may last a while on the net, if I were to guess I would say they would last a couple of days maybe even lasting up until the movie is released. At the very least with one probably selling out faster than the other, right now it is hard to tell who but if they both last until the movie the released I think that is when people will start favoring one over the other.

So I wouldn't worry too much about missing out on the dolls as the chances of resellers selling them for a decent profit on ebay would be pretty slim. In terms of buying online as a back up just in case you don't get one in store, I believe in this case it may just be better to go in store and take your chances there. Like I said most people probably wouldn'd have plans of going in to get the dolls due to their lack of knowledge of whether or not they will like the character therefore most will probably have the mentality "if it is still in stock when I get there then I might get one". So if you just get there on opening you should have a good chance.

I definitely think that the hype around the designer set is by far bigger but short lived whereas the hype for the LE dolls is lower but by far lasts much longer. Also the LE dolls are not necessarily targeted as collector items hence why some people even buy them for their children to play with like normal dolls. So I wouldn't worry too much about missing out, just as long as you stay informed and are smart about it then you should be fine.

Also this is a little off topic and I dont even know if I will be allowed to do this on the forum but my partner entered a competition through facebook where he needs to get votes for his car. If you guys are able to can you please show some support and vote for his car. He is currently in the lead but we could use more votes as the competition still has a while to go, I think the page does require you to like the page but I figured you could just unlike the page after the competition ends at the end of November? Here is the link to the page http://a.pgtb.me/V3Tr4K?app_data=entry_id=37818527 his car is the yellow one the entry by Grant H. Any support will be appreciated! Thanks guys

Polaris, I don't think these dolls will last very long. The only reason is, I've been watching the eBay market and so far two sellers have sold two individual "sets" as pre-sales...which technically I don't think they are allowed to do. However, they sold them at double the price so now they have started the market going. I would definitely be up at midnight purchasing these dolls, they might not go as fast but I'm still thinking they will go quickly. I'm going to try to get to my store early in the morning to get mine. Usually there is only like 3 or 4 of us there but I want to make sure I can get mine. I'll being heading to my store on Thursday to see if I can ask some more questions and see how many they are getting.

Can I just say.... THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT GUYS !!!!
I didn't even like the look of frozen at the start! I didn't like the look of the male characters nor Anna, and the jokes were not really my taste.
But now LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE!
I am literally pondering whether or not to try for the Elsa doll. I am looking up spoilers !

You all have converted me and my bank account is saying ouch in advance!!!! haha

Yeah you are probably right about that, I didnt look at ebay for trends in sales. I dunno though maybe some people are just jumping the gun? I honestly just do not see these dolls selling that fast, it just makes me wondering if those that decided to buy the preorders were those that just dont have the time to worry about trying to go online and buy the dolls and have the extra cash to just splash out and buy it in advance. Either way I dont see an Urusla and Eric fiasco where it sells out within the hour but you may be right in that they probably wont last days.

So, I haven't read it because I am staying away from spoilers if at all possible, but I saw this on Tumblr and it is the finished script of the film, including lyrics apparently! Obviously don't click it if you don't want to read the script/be spoiled in any way, but I know a lot of you do like to know everything possible you can, so in case you haven't seen it yet...

SUPER MEGA HUGE SPOILER SCRIPT OF THE ENTIRE MOVIE:

I do think they'll sell out relatively fast, but this is not a Little Mermaid Set, so I think it will be a half to full hour before they're gone. The big factor that really isn't being discussed much is Christmas. The timing is perfect to buy one of these dolls as a Christmas gift. There are so many more people looking to spend money at this time of year than there was even back I October. I don't think the sharks stand to make tons of money. I collect American Girl Dolls also and they are already selling out of stuff for the year. If our blessed link fairies will be helpful, I think we'll be fine. I am just hoping the crap that happened with the pin this week doesn't happen again where it was not available at the release time and was available later. If Disney can be glitch free and the link fairies can help out, this last doll adventure should turn out great for everyone! Also, if anyone manages to get ahold of a Harrods set this late, please let me know. I am trying every day!

I hope that doesn't happen too. While I wasn't upset with missing out on the pin, I'd hate to miss out on the dolls.

I'm starting to become torn on Elsa. I knew I wanted Anna, and I still plan to get her, but I may want Elsa too. If I had the cash, I'd love to try to get most of the Frozen stuff. I would love to use some of the frozen stuff to set up as a kind of winter/holiday display. I have an impressive wishlist for my birthday next week

As Singing Elsa hit stores 1 or 2 weeks before she was available online in the US, I'm wondering, has anyone seen Singing Anna in any store yet in the US?

Nope..
My Manager doesn't know when she is coming either...
Will let you all know if I find out anything...

It may be after the movie to avoid more spoilers?? idk.

I know singin Anna's page is up on UK DS. And she sings for the first time in forever which is shown on one of the trailers

I asked on Disney's Facebook page a couple of weeks back about when singing Anna might be available, they had no confirmed date. I think they're probably waiting until the movie's released to avoid spoilers, there's no other reason they'd be holding her back.

For some reason the UK site no longer have Anna's LE page up but Elsa's page has three pictures now...i wonder why...Disney, what's so different about Anna???
