I wasn't sure which forum to put this on, so the mods can move it if it's in the wrong place. While in Oregon this week visiting my grandma, I made plans to meet up with Tammy(rubyslipperedgoddess) for a few hours. Well, a few hours quickly turned into 8+ and we did a lot of chatting, laughing, and yes, pin trading!! First off, here is a picture of myself(wearing my new glasses!) with the beautiful and talented rubyslipperedgoddess!


I took the picture myself while sitting in her lap, so I look a bit odd and scrunched up. I also look a bit like a drowned rat because it was pouring rain outside.

And here is my pin haul! She has some awesome pins!











Eeeee!!! I had so much fun hanging out and trading with Tammy, I hope I can see her again soon!!
 
Glad you guys had a great time. I really like the picture and Echo your new glasses look great! It's nice to put faces to names I see all the time.

Glad you had fun! I have one sister who lives in Ashland, another sister who lives in Trail, my mom lives in Shady Cove, and a niece who lives in Medford! I'm the only Californian!
 
Wait! Your Grandma lives in Beaverton; my in-laws live in Beaverton. We're going there for Christmas for a couple days before driving up to Seattle with the rest of my husband's family. Pin meet in Beaverton, it would drive my in-laws crazy. :lol: They just saw my pin collection for the first time. I think they were taken aback.
 
Hope, nice! My grandma lives at Hearthstone at Murray Hill I love the north west! I also have family up in Washington: Olympia, Lacey, Kirkland, Redmond, Tumwater, and a couple other places
 
I grew up in Bellingham, WA my husband grew up in Oak Harbor, WA and we both went to school in Seattle, and lived there for the first year we were married. Then we've been bouncing around the West ever since. I'm not all that familiar with Beaverton geography, but the in-laws live in an apartment right by the Beaverton Creek MAX station. Our other Christmas travels will be taking us to Bellevue (hubby's aunt & uncle) and Seattle (hubby's Grandpa).
 
very cool! sounds like we've been to very similar places. Hearthstone is right off Schols Ferry Rd. and Murray BLVD. It's about 2 miles down the street from Washington square
 
Ugh! What a horrible picture of me. Echo it was so fantastic meeting you and when I get 2 seconds to do anything other than sleep and work I'll post my half of this trading event as well as the other pins I've acquired in the last couple of weeks.
 
Echo I love your Alice and Dinah pin that you got! Amazing! It would be so much fun to meet with traders and trade pins! Sadly I live in AZ. Thanks again for all the DSF advice I really appreciate it!
