Have you ever had Pin Regret??

OHH man i regret selling ALMOST ALL my good pins.... I started in 2006 i had a lof of DSF pins i miss my WIR marquee TRON too and my amazing UP valentines set plus many more

I guess that's why it's taken me so long to get into the trading thing at all. Buying pins is so much safer, I set a price limit and no matter how much I want the pin, I TRY to stick to it, sometimes not as well as I'd like, but then again it's hard to watch a grail slip by, I'm still upset that I waited to bid on that Little Hiawatha lot, some of those pins have never showed up anywhere.

Ditto. I think people get frustrated with me because I have to think long and hard to make a decision.

Its probably like a mind game, like your mentally asking yourself if your ready to give up the pin and its hard sometimes

Not that old, 2011, 2011, 2009 & 2005. I think prettier pins are just harder to part with.

No trading regrets yet as I just started collecting and haven't had the chance to trade. I'm really excited to start, but I'm definitely doing to take my time and when in doubt pass.

I do have some purchasing regrets though. The very first pin I bought off ebay was either a fake or a scrapper. It hasn't arrived yet and was only $5 so not not really worth the cost of shipping it back for a refund. I guess it might be real when it gets here, but it was being sold my a known fakes seller (I had no idea at the time being such a newbie. It wasn't until I saw how many LE pins they were selling for cheap I got wary then looked them up.) Oh well, on the bright side I can always use it as a point of reference to compare real and fake pins to. I bet it'll still be pretty so I'll just keep it in my 'other' pins page.

I also regret not buying a couple. 2 in particular I missed the end of the auction by a few seconds.

I also regret not buying pins when I had the chance. Like the Musical Moments pins from the Disney Store, or pins from the Disney Soda Fountain years ago, or even some limited editions that were in stock. If only I knew then what I know now!
