I do not know the seller but the Evil Queen PT52 pin and the Hook Hidden Mickey pin in her picture are both bad. I wouldn't trust it. A better deal to make sure you get the real deal would be to buy from Jadestarr in the sales thread. Her pins all come on card (unless it is a mystery pin) I am pretty sure and some of the 7 pin booster sets are only $4 or $5. Her sale is ending soon though so I wouldn't wait too long! PM her and tell her Rocke01 sent you... LOL!
 
I know her personally she is great and all her pins are authentic. They just moved from So cal to Az a few months ago. She goes to every pin event they have in Flordia and at Disneyland.

Yes actualy I just did, I just bought the Gemini Disney Shopping Si and Am Jumbo pin, it came with all original packaging, She shipped it fast too! it is a beautiful pin flawless. I know how easy it can be for tthat beautiful blue background to get scratched. It was my only purchase from her but it was a good buy and she has my thumbs both up.

Lumpy, I would say if you were going to buy from that seller only buy single pins that HAVE NOT been scrapped /faked... stay away from the random lots! :)
Their feedback is great, I don't want to assume anything- but the people who could buy from them may not be educated on scrappers, then leaving positive feedback. It just kinda seems weird to me that they have the new WDW HM pins and DL HM pins?!
 
I have never purchased from them but I personally tend to stay away from "lots" especially when they say the pins will be random and not the pins shown. I actually purchased two such auctions when my little princess wanted to start collecting and it was clear the second they arrived that they were not first quality pins.

There are a few members that sell traders reasonably if you are looking for an assortment. Good luck!
 
I don't really care about assortment as I am only considering buying them for trading with Cast Members.
Would I run less of a risk of getting scrappers if I bought small lots?

No... most the lots on ebay are ALL scrappers... no real pins mixed in with the lot. :/

No. Whether the lot is big or small the pins will be scrappers. I bought a 25 pin lot right after I started trading and it was all fakes. I recommend buying pins on here. There are a few people who are currently selling traders really cheap.
 
I asked the seller this in reference to a "lot" .....
"Hi there are these first quality pins? Thanks!"

Their response.... "No mam. These in the lots are for trading at the parks not collectors quality.
The pins are not the same quality as you will see in our Buy it Now listings. They should be used for trading purposes only. Hope this helps"

Ugh!! I did the same thing! I gave them all to my baby sister who is to little to care about any of that. It was such a shame to because the person had such high reviews, obviously from people who don't know and/ or don't care.

:shock: Is he SERIOUS???? He's pretty much saying "these are scrappers. only trade them to cast members because hardcore traders will call you out". Yeah, I'm going to go find a different seller.
