I noticed that too. I'm really bummed there is no Jasmine/Jafar set especially since I cannot see them continuing this line next year.

That wouldn't matter. The art of Ariel was released the same year as the designer fairytale Ariel/Eric set. The Art of Aurora collection was released last year with the designer fairytale Briar Rose/Prince Phillip dolls. That wouldn't affect them releasing a Jasmine/Jafar set. You would think they would sell a Jasmine/Jafar set. The Jasmine designer dolls have always sold well. Jasmine/Aladdin were the first couple to sell out in less than a week with the first wave of designer fairytale dolls.
 
Well there will be a second Heroes/Villains Set next year if I would have to guess so maybe Jasmine is just in there :)

I thought that anything Jasmine, Jafar and/or Aladdin would be D23 exclusive. I sure as hell am not singling them out as a hope and if SW and the Hag are the D23 set, then we're getting a rather too small collection (R/G, A/U, P/H, and H/E.)
 
I know it doesn't make much sense, but I'm starting to wonder if the OUAT set is actually the only D23 exclusive. Especially since their announcement said "Continuing the ‘heroes and villains’ theme, Disney Store will introduce the Once Upon a Time Snow White and Evil Queen Doll Collection, available exclusively at D23 EXPO" as if they are lumping in this set in with the whole "heroes and villains" thing.

The expo is only two weeks away and you'd think we'd get an announcement with more information soon, but then again, the 17" Jasmine pre-order is just a couple of days away and we haven't gotten any more photos. They are really waiting until the last minute these days.

I've noticed this too. At first I thought it was because of all the backlash against the Jasmine picture, but now that they have been equally mum about the heroes/villains set I guess this is just the way they're doing things this year. :( I miss last year when all the product info was available at least a couple weeks in advance.

But if nothing else, everyone will find out the lineup and get pictures at D23 a month before the sets come out for Disney Store itself. :)

There could be always be something tomorrow but I personally don't think they're going to release any more information until the Expo, especially considering how secretive Disney has been with their merchandise these days.
 
No (that we know of) Jasmine/Jafar in this set or Tiana/Dr.F was why I passed. And instead tried for the LE Jasmine doll. Though I like what their doing, the Hag. Nice touch and branching out.

For a second, I was wondering who would say the F word. Then I noticed it was in the animated gif. It should be gone soon, the moderators are pretty good about shutting those down.

For the 2013 designer couples, was there a preview of the entire line before the D23 expo? Or just snippets here and there with rampant speculation?
 
I removed the gif. I didn't read it completely before posting since I just googled I hate waiting.

I personally thought the gif was funny lol. But I can see why it would bother some people. Anyways, I REALLY hope we see something tomorrow. Even if D23 is in just a few days, I can't wait to see what this series looks like!

I did a search on DPF. Someone posted pics found on Flickr of the artwork on July 16th. Stitch Kingdom posted actual photos of Snow and Jasmine on the 19th. Then Ariel photos appeared on the 22nd. The official photos with release dates were posted August 1st on the Disney Store's blog. 2013 D23 convention was held August 9-11.

YES YES ME I ALMOST DIED LOLOLOLOL FREAK MY HUSBAND HAHAHAHA with all this silence from Disney I thought we could pre order them tonight WOW! I'm actually more impressed with Snow White and the Hag and Captain Hook and Peter Pan because 1st time making them and have new face mold and body. Than Elsa and Rapunzel that are my favorites. Don't get Rapunzel outfit. Elsa Hans just more decorated outfits besides that not convince for that price. Liking Ursula too articulated and better tentacles. oh man!
