*nods in agreement* That's why I really, really hope these are all just rumors, or someone has it confused. If they are going to have one design be exclusive to d23 (rather than simply a variation as they always have done since the start of the designers??) then it should be Anna and Kristoff being d23 line. Like you pointed out, it would make perfect sense and a great way to segue the fairytale couples to the fairytale villains and heroes :dunno:
 
It doesn't seem a popular opinion but since Anna is my favorite, I'm pretty ecstatic that she's not exclusive. I also love the troll wedding outfits and I've wanted her in that look since I saw Lulemee's creation.

We will see what happens. Disney may surprise us all. I don't think we'll get any official news until August 1st since that's when they announced the first wave of the Designer Fairytale Collection in the 2013 D23 year.
I hope we hear official news sooner.
 
What if Disney just throws a huge surprise on all of us and have it be Rapunzel/Gothel, Aurora/Maleficent, Ariel/Ursula/,Elsa/Hans, Snow White/Evil Queen (Hag), Jasmine/Jafar. I mean after all with the release of the new classic dolls they didn't include any of the villain dolls. Maybe they are waiting to revel them since they are going to be modeled with the new body for Ursula and head sculpts perhaps? I know it sounds crazy but its jut something to consider.
 

That would be awesome! But that would also mean that we wouldn't get a Peter Pan and Hook set, which would be incredibly disappointing for me seeing I have been wanting Peter Pan LE dolls for a long time now lol.

Im really looking forward to seeing a peter pan LE too, im collecting the fairies for my daughter and peter would be perfect but i have a feeling that its all rumours and we wont get a peter/hook combo. I think they will stick to the mould they currently have with maybe a few improvements.
if they replaced peter with belle it might make me feel a bit better but if they miss them both from the collection then i think i will give the rest a miss unless the rapunzel MOther gothal combo looks AMAzING
 
People are going absolutely insane over the Frozen dolls and I hate to see anyone heart broken over rumors. If you have your heart set on them, it's probably best to wait and hear from Disney's official announcement before you get your hopes up or dashed by speculation. I'm not assuming anything at this point about anything besides the fact that there is some kind of Elsa & Hans set. That's all we know for sure.
 
I think its easier for them in terms of shipping and saving on packaging with two dolls in one case. Doesn't anyone think we will see the same pattern as the last two years, five doll sets now, five in 2016? Next year probably Belle/Gaston, Cinderella/Lady Tremaine, Aurora/Maleficent, Jasmine/Jafar. I'm not sure who the last set would be. If they really do Peter Pan, Hook and Hag dolls they will finally surprise me.

It would have made so much more sense for Anna and Kristoff to be the D23 exclusive. I hope we get confirmation soon.

Im hoping disney will go all out and truely surprise us and put
together a few different combos from the past few years
 
An Esmeralda and frollo set would be AMAZING! But I doubt theyed ever make a designer anything with the hunchback or Hercules movies.
 
Agreed^ also not forget these aren't the Heroes and Villains line. The leaked box art for Ariel and Ursula showed no reference to this. Just Designer Couples again so don't rule anything out!

i don't think they will make elsa and hans exclusive for d23 (at least i hope not!)
but maybe a second version like elsa in her blue dress D23 exclusive and her coronation dress for everybody.

it still blows my mind how that person could get those dolls or even the pictures

This though makes it official it's Basically Girls and thier villains.

This would have me believe though Anna and Kristoff aren't in the set as a main part
 
The artist Steve Thompson is going to be at the expo on Friday for signings to celebrate the new designer collection.
 
I am pretty shocked that Snow and the Hag is an actual set (or "Snow White and the Witch" as the set is officially called). I expected a Snow White to be included somehow, but never with the Hag. I will need to see pictures of the actual set before I make any claims, but I think a Snow White and the Evil Queen set would have been so much more elegant in theory. At least the art is lovely!

I'm glad we have gotten some official information of some sort. We at least know that the set so far consists of Snow White and the Hag, Ariel and Ursula, and Elsa and Hans. I am praying to god that the Peter Pan and Hook set rumor is true!

I think I want this set to pair the "witch" with the designer evil queen. I'm not too crazy about Snow's floral skirt. However, to put the hag side by side with her regal designer doll could look amazing. In fact, I'd love to do that with all the villains. The princesses are overdone now--and these princesses won't even look all that different from the last couples set.
